Should I buy a PS3 for this game?

I already did this two years ago. I didn't play any other game. I ended up selling the PS3 for $275. Now it appears the PS3 has some better software.

Now I'm getting the itch to play this game again. Has it improved much since the 2008 version?

I was thinking about getting a blu-ray player anyway.

Is this game worth purchasing an entire console?

I traded in my 360 a year ago just for this game. 09 was great and I think 10 will be even better with the little things they added like batting practice and relief pitchers warming up when they are brought in the game.

How many of you bought a PS3 because of MLB 10?

Just out of curiosity, I saw this game at Best Buy and thought for a second I was watching a real MLB game. I'm so impressed I am picking up a PS3 and a copy of this game later. Anyone else buy a PS3 because of this game?

I don't know if I count, but my wife bought me a PS3 for xmas after all the time I spent playing 09 on the PS2. I have to believe that all the little hints about how much I would love to play 2010 on a PS3 had something to do with it.

I didn't buy it for 10 but I did buy it for '07. I was going to get a PS3 eventually anyway but went out and got it when '07 released just to play it. In fact it was the only game I played/owned for about 3 months!
