Same here Jim never drank , smoked or had the need to try drugs im just naturally hystrung, never around any of that crap I just always played sports season by season and a alot of Strat o matic .
Then in 1990 I bought my nephew a system maybe genisis all black ? Celtics/Lakers game and I have been hooked ever since not to hard when you grew up on Tudors electric football Fish vs Boys.
I used to cut out of work on release day and go to Funcoland

I disagree on retirment thou as i havent worked in 8 years and i love being a lazy sport/video playing bum , good work if you can find it huh

How old are you again? I loved Funcoland. Genesis was a beast of a system for me.

Yeah I gave it to my cousin when they were cleaning out my old room closet years ago. So I told them they could have it and have my Atari 2600 and Nintendo too. Now I wish I kept it.

45 ,Scottdau , but come to think of it I had a Nintendo with the foot pad , duck shoot with the gun , blades of steel and double dribble but I was working so much I probably didnt play it much .
My brother gave it to me after his wife said her or the system well there still married with 2 girls 20 years later .
I also had pong in the 70s and played some intellivison hockey in the early 80s at my best friends.
Yep I believe Funcoland changed name to gamestop in the late 90s .
Crap I remember when Toys R us was called Bargain Town , photographic memory I guess .
