Trust me "big boy pants" are NOT necessary. I'm 63 and have done a lot in my life (Vietnam Vet -four years there- retired cop) and I will never give up my hobbies. An avid, rabid baseball nut. I don't smoke, don't drink, don't cheat on my wife, straight as can be.

I see so many guys my age bored to death, wish they'd never retired because they have nothing to do. Running my web site, writing my book, making rosters (retired, ), and baseball, in particular this great game, have made me wonder how I ever had time for real work.

Keep gaming guys. My best friend is 67 and he's still at it. Don't ever fall into the trap that you are just "too old" to have fun. Doesn't make any sense. Retirement is the age to do just that.

This is just a sampling of why I'm proud to call you a friend. I'm 47 going on 13 when it comes to Baseball. Nothing but sex beats playing The Show on a -13 degree day here in the Twin Cities.

Same here Jim never drank , smoked or had the need to try drugs im just naturally hystrung, never around any of that crap I just always played sports season by season and a alot of Strat o matic .
Then in 1990 I bought my nephew a system maybe genisis all black ? Celtics/Lakers game and I have been hooked ever since not to hard when you grew up on Tudors electric football Fish vs Boys.
I used to cut out of work on release day and go to Funcoland

I disagree on retirment thou as i havent worked in 8 years and i love being a lazy sport/video playing bum , good work if you can find it huh
