I wish Sony could get this working right but I don't think this will be possible on PS3 because of Memory limitations.

Can you play at any stadium in season mode? I know they said you could in franchise. This may be a dumb question, just wondering.

          Sounds of The Show:

They have expanded the Sounds of the Show feature by including the ability to assign custom audio for several team specific areas.

Some of those will range from team wins, pennant wins, World Series wins, home run music, strike out music, away team errors, to inning specific music (i.e. 7th inning stretch), and more.
Man I'm excited for this. Stadium specific sounds will really make going to each stadium a different experience. Doing batter walk up's is cool but it takes way too long to do everyone IMO. I'll probably just try to get my Yanks and a few randoms correct with this. But the ability to have team/stadium specific sounds will make each road trip a new experience. Very cool. I hope someone puts together all these sounds because I have a hardtime just downloading stuff. Thanks SCEA team and thanks to the guys that are gonna spend the time organizing the sounds. Long live OS!!!!

Is the ending of RTTS when you make the hall of fame improved? last year you just got a screen that said your stats and that was it... is there a animation this year or atleast some sort of better send off to the players we come attached to?

Also, if they add the timeout feature most likely you would only be able to do it 3 times a game.
Yes, this was in last year.. the auto pitch. I was concerned with the new timeout feature which won't be an issue according to pared.

Apologies if this has been asked, but do that have that monstrosity of a hotel outside of centerfield in Camden Yards?

Sounds good. But the thing I like the most is that guess pitch no longer takes away your pitch meter. It was bad enough telling the batter what was coming, but taking away the meter doubled the trouble. I wouldn't mind playing people now with no feedback GP due to this...in fact it might be kinda fun.

Any idea if the guess pitch gives penalties? IE: you get a bonus to the pitch you guess, but does it give a small penalty to the ones you don't? Seems to me if you are looking fastball, you'd be fooled more easily by the curve.

Yes, it does this. And it always has. The in-game strategy guide in '09 goes into pretty serious detail on this. Guess pitch is not an all-reward no-risk thing. The penalties for guessing wrong (on one or both) get steeper with higher difficulty levels, and bonuses/penalties are also affected by the type of guess pitch that you use. For example, if you're using Classic 1/4 you won't get as large a bonus for guessing right as you would with No Feedback. The bonuses/penalties are an under-the-hood kind of thing, but they are there.

If Brian manages to pop back in here I'm sure he could give more detail, but you've been warned...he might not be able to stop explaining once he starts - LOL!

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
