To any of the CD guys. Was there any talk or did anyone notice if you could Hire a retired player as a manager or coach? As the Cubs I would love to be able to hire Sandberg.

Nothing new with coaches/managers this year.
I really want to be able to go into the coach/manager/scout/farm director pool and edit them in the future.
I hate the generated ones....and I really would love to see tendencies and a lot more influence(not in effect....but number of)....in them.

What about injured CPU players? Do they sign a FA then or promote from AAA/AA?

That would be AWESOME! I guess this would have to be put on the '11 wishlist, but it would be great if players also had some manager/coach ratings applied to them when they retired. This way, when Derek Jeter finally retires, you could hire him as manager of the Yankees and it would boost attendance and the overall feeling of the team.

You do....but it will be the stadium capacity of the stadium you play.
So if your teams real home team stadium is 55,000....but you decide to play in a 44,000 seat stadium and sell it out...you only get the 44,000.

Cool. But let say I have enough demand to full a 55,000 seats stadium and decide to play on a 44,000 one, the logic based on "demand & offer" would be you can raise ticket price to make roughly the same amount of money. Do you think this is implemented ?

Kolbe said they changed it to base attendance off your home stadium, regardless of where you play so you wouldn't go bankrupt playing in minor league stadiums

They changed it.
It will go by your home field....so note the capacity and go by that.

Ok, after seeing the Dave Trembley bio presentation pic from pastapadre's site, I have a question.

How many generic models do they have for "fictional" managers? Also, will this bio presentational aspect be available for fictional managers or is it just incorporated for managers already in the game?

I have seen this question asked a couple of times, but have not seen it answered. Could someone please tell us if the interleage schedule rotates this year when you play multiple seasons? Also, does the All-Star game change venues from year to year?

We're not sure.
Pared said he saw it change from division to division.
I'm pretty sure...it changes teams, but the divisions will remain the same.(as it did last year).
It does....but you can choose to play the All-Star game in any stadium.
In any venue...the All-Star logos WILL advance from year to year.

I doubt there will be a made up bio for fake managers...but you never know.
I never actually saw that bio page until these pics!
(and I hope they add a ton of that content....I love that kind of thing)

I don't know how we both can be so off on this. I remember you naming teams and even pointing out they were from different divisions. I then agreed with you.

It's all a big blur at this point.

Just in case it gets lost how quickly the threads move along.
