I think this thread has run its course, it's way too jumbled for many legit questions getting answered anymore..imo.

In Jim's defense, a lot of us were so focused on what we could offer to help have fixed there wasn't time to dwell on what we didn't like.

He, just like everyone else, was constantly offering suggestions and help to get the game to the place where most baseball fans would want to see it go.

I understand Jim. It's just that because The Show is already at such a high level, it's hard to imagine going to one of these things with the bar set so high and NOT inevitably letdown by some aspect of it. Maybe I am just a Grade-A fault finder, I dunno.

I didn't even go to CD and from what I have read how can anyone be disappointed with the list of things added to this years game? If you have played any other sports game on next gen and compare it to what the show has done, it is impossible to be.

To save this from going further...let me clarify...although the CD guys seemed to understand what I was asking.

My question, was asking basically if there was anything they were expecting to be better than it was. Or something they thought going in would be different, but was not.

Asking for things that they thought could be improved would turn this quickly into a Wishlist Thread, as Jim stated, which wasn't the intention of my question.

Pared mentioned sig styles, bcruise mentioned commentary, and Jim saw the game as he expected to see the game. That was what I was asking. Thanks for the responses gentlemen.

Here is one I bet no one asked yet

On a called third strike with a right handed batter up does the catcher throw the ball to the first basemen? Or does the catcher still throw all balls to the third basemen after a strike out?

In real life and MLB 2K9 the catcher throws the ball to the first basemen on a third strike when a right hand batter is up and the catcher throws to the third basemen when a left hand batter is up.

The Show is a great game no doubt but it seems as though any mention that something could possibly be done better or differently is not the thing to do around here.

really? I always thought I saw catchers fire to 3rd, since that's the throw they make more often and need more work throwing around the batter. I always had my catchers do this, instead of 1st.

Its because the game isnt out yet. All we have is some lucky folks that played a non complete version..Its not about censorship, its more use your head when talking about an unfinished project thats still being tweeked. They make the wrong statement and everyone freaks out before the game is released and you'll have whats happening to another franchise. I love the info guys but this is the curse..thanks fellas

I do not ever remember seeing the catcher throw to first after a K. I see the throw to third.
