It is the proportions that they fixing, like arm length. Some people can't stand the current models, some like them, its all a matter of opinion

I'm not gonna front. I see slight proportional imperfections, but they don't hurt the player model's appearance in a major way.

People usually bring up the length of the arms, but what I see is some player's shoulders are too wide. That might be what people who mention the arm length are actually seeing.

Mestman, do you remember if this was usually by a left handed catcher? / Cardsleadtheway ever see a left handed catcher while watching a MLB game?

There have been a few left-handed catchers in history, but not many, and not for many many years. I would still think they would throw around the horn starting at third, though.

Thanks for the info and an interesting read. I would have thought their would have been a lot more than that in the LONG history of MLB. My favorite was the quote from Babe Ruth, talking about his younger days when he would catch as a lefty:

"We had no catcher's mitt built for left handers, of course. We were lucky to have any kind of mitt. I'd used the regular catcher's mitt on my left hand, received the throw from the pitcher, take off the glove and throw it back to him left handed. When I had to throw to a base, trying to catch a runner, I'd toss the glove away, grab the ball with my left hand and heave it with everything I had."

hmm yet to be determined, Soriano doesn't care about the team, has the fielding skills of an 8 year old and swings a bat 5x his weight. And he still thinks he can hit leadoff with his .241 avg. Yeah, I will be putting his a** on the bench every game with the Cubs this year. He has been my least favorite Cub for a while now, and it hurts me to see these bandwagon Cubs fans praise Soriano just because when they do see him in action, they see him on sportscenter hitting his one lucky deep ball, but never show him striking out (always) or booting the ball in left. Complete joke.

Couple of things from playing last night which I'm not sure were answered since this thread is so big now.

1. is the animation of outfielders running and catching a fly all on the run and reaching behind them gone (that one bugs me a lot for some reason )

2. more variation of foul balls

3. whoever the announcer is who keeps telling me to stop walking people when it's my 1st one of the game and having my pitching coach visit me ( another huge pet peeve)

What do you mean by signature style? I'm sure it's defined differently from person to person. Walk up animations to the plate, step out the box routines in the batters box, homerun follow throughs, batting stances, pitching deliveries, personal traits like Joba's crazy fist pump antics and Jeter's backhand jump throw from deep short? I would like to know what part of "signature styles" you and SCEA talked about. If you could elaborate I'd appreciate it. It seems we share the same passion of seeing players act like their true likeness.

The game last year was amazing so really I don't have a big problem with the game, so this is a minor question if you can answer it.

I did not see any difference from 09 but I did not think there was an issue either. What was wrong with curve ball breaks?

Oh no, I didn't say there was something wrong with it, I just wanted to ask that question. Last year the breaks were perfect, It was just a random question.

How dare you call me a bandwagon cubs fan. I tell you what go to www.cubbiescrib.com, where i am the lead writer for the site, and see just how much of a bandwagon fan i am. I never said that I love soriano all i said was Silva could be giving him a run for his money.

There are no LH catchers in baseball.

It's not a common sight to see them throw to first, but teams occasionally do it. I saw Brian Schneider with the Mets do it last year.
