I take it you didn't see Brett Anderson? Or is he generic? Do they have his face in if you saw him?

Anderson, along with Braden, Duke, Gio, Mazzaro, and Outman all still have generic deliveries.

On the bright side, everyone's faces look pretty spot-on this year.

Ha ha! Wishi couldve there with you tomorrow. Have you confirmed that maple grove has the game? They didn't as of 2:45 yesterday afternoon.

I would have welcomed someone else playing, because I could have gotten video of so much more.

I haven't checked. Which one did you play it at?

Actually...if you're a little OCD.....you would be pleased with the fact that someone is doing something the same..all the time.

I play with auto baserunning cuz i always seem to screw up. With that said, the cpu baserunning aggression is too high again this year. Ive been thrown out at third a few times now when theres no way the guy shouldve never tried for it. Its not a game killer, just very frustrating when it happens. It is fair i guess cuz i threw out Rollins at third so it goes both ways. But its still a problem like it was last year, may be tuned down a little but definately needs working on. Maybe give us a BR agression slider to tweak.

They removed that slider last year for some reason. I'm an auto baserunning guy myself and the first to third out bugged me at times last year. I don't think it was too bad but what was worse were guys diving back to their bag on wild pitches. Have you seen that? Will base runners be smarter this year in those situations?

I should have brought a chair with me. The Best Buy I was at was literally empty.

Jonathan Sanchez has his own delivery.
Brian Wilson's delivery was updated.
Barry Zito's delivery was NOT updated.
Pablo Sandoval's stance was updated.

IMO, Pablo's head looks too big. I thought he looked better in 09.

Any player I did not mention either has a generic delivery/stance or was not updated.

All in all, like many people have said, the game is a lot more crisp.

Timmy's motion was different than last years. It was a lot more smoother.

Idk. Mark Buehrle threw one back in 2007 and they have yet to get his right !(at least up to 2009, Idk about 2010 yet)

It is perfect. I played it yesterday too. It has a wider stretch out of the animation. Plus they have a better face too and with his long hair. It really looks like he is firing that ball now.

For those who have also played the game, when you edit a player, what's the difference between team default, team color 1, team color 2, and team color 3?

I really wish when you edit a player on a certain team, it would display the appropriate colors instead of the generic MLB 10 colors.

Ok just returned from round 2. Where are you guys in the Twin Cities area? No one has challenged me for the controller yet. Anyway i am feeling even more positive about the game today than i was yesterday.

For all of your Atlanta Tomahawk Choppers, pay close attention to the first second or two of this short video, you will see your scoreboard going off after a HR...

So I played half of a game with Atlanta against the Mets. I finally figured out how to turn the RTP on this time around, and boy am I loving that! I saw Chipper foul a pitch off his foot, hop around, and toss the bat away. Then they showed me the "Show-Motion" Replay of the whole thing, very well done.

I then jumped into a replay of a HR, and noticed that they let the replay run a lot longer this year. The player got almost to third on his trot before the replay cut off. This will be nice for putting together video montages as i have more to work with.

I then simmed a season up to the Divisional Series and played game 3 of the Yankees/Twins series to get a feel of playoff atmosphere. The Minnesota crowd was in full force waving the Homer Hankees/Towels and it was pretty cool. Especially when Morneau hit a three run blast to right...

Some notes from this game, I saw a variety of errors, both from my team and from the computer. Had a deep fly ball to Denard Span that he was within the circle to make the catch, however i wasn't ideally set and the ball glanced off his shoulder/glove/head and got behind him. I had another play where Jeter made a low throw to first, and instead of the ball just getting past the 1st baseman, he did the ole move, it hit off the tip off his glove and popped out, dribbling slowly up the first base line towards the outfield. Absolutely awesome sequence. I got to use the pitcher warmup sequence for the first time, pretty cool addition. I am sure i will think of more later.

speaking of the bench, i noticed they stayed there with their hands on the railing and didnt react to the homer.

I haven't checked. Which one did you play it at?

I was at Minnetonka. Yesterday I hit up Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove and neither had it at that time, Minnetonka was the third stop and there it was. I believe someone also confirmed Eden prairie as having the game on this thread.

If you or anyone else goes to the Minnetonka store, use controller #2 (the one on the right). Controller #1 hardly works, and has absolutely no response when you hit the start button.
