You can have 3 songs assigned to be played during innings.. I take it it randomly plays them as the game moves along.. I noticed music can be assigned to SBs, errors, walks and globally assigning reliever entry music if you want per stadium..

looks like a sony xbr 9 I got the same tv is a great tv..

played two games about 2 hours ago, let's see where to start. I played The braves vs the mets at turner field. I hit a homerun off johan santana with Escobar. I didnt like visuals maybe it was the TV, but the baseball had some kinda aura around it and also when the players ran on the base path and you saw it on the little cam, they didnt have numbers on they back like it was the bat boy running lol. The second game was with the rangers at the twins. Hit a homerun with Ian Kinsler but they the twins answered back with a homerun from Mauer lol. I'm not going to front, I didn't really like how the game looks. Maybe it was the TV or the game not being done, i ejected it out of the ps3 and it was blank and said it was not for resale. I have many photo's, how do i put on here?

Do you have a PS3 ?

SCEA needs an art department jolt.
the menus are getting stale my friend.
nothing like a 52" screen to make u see it clear as HD lol

the black/silver thing is outdated.
wheres the color?

i had to go back earlier to try again and play to get a bit more enthused but take away the RTP and at the core theres nothing new to be excited bout [my opinion].

they REALLY need to revamp the look of this thing.
i am also wondering how many MLB THE SHOW10 graphics they can put across the top of the batter walk up! lol
also why does the batter walk up overlay span the entire screen but the ENTIRE right half, is EMPTY!?!?!?!

not for nothing, but i feel po'd bout the horrible design choices they made.
I wanted to give it a chance thru pics but seeing it in person...yuck


things i liked:
the sound-seems crowd got jacked up at the right times.
the graphics
oh those stadium graphics
glory glory halladaylujah!
i love the animations, what i have seen seems new
I think CC's delivery has been tweaked
not fully sure.

can we get a new opening please?

commentary is getting putrid, but MATT is well above decent, he just needs better lines to deliver. the ones he has are stale and non baseball like

all in all i played/seen enough to make my decision, i will be sticking to 09 and snagging 2k....but SCEA, to get me to upgrade from 09 REALLY, seriously IMO needs to revamp the art team in charge of overlays & coloring.

and a new writer.

i actually got angry playing that at times.
hence my edgy posts.
in any event for those that DONT mind my qualms will love it, cause the game is unreal in some aspects

wow that might be 480p or something....it looks like the old 4-3 and not 16-9....if you look at the sides compared to the middle of the screen it looks like the screen is stretching out the video to fit the widescreen..... anyone else notice that in this video?

You start by picking the game apart and saying you're not gonna buy it because SCEA needs to " revamp the art team in charge of overlays & coloring ", but you end saying, " in any event for those that DONT mind my qualms will love it, cause the game is unreal in some aspects "

So, are you saying, in your opinion, there's not enough new things to justify you buying MLB 10 ? I'm just askin' because you also mentioned the RTP being exciting.

LOL...So true...I loved the game and can't wait to play it on my own TV. The one thing I hated when playing the game in Best Buy was a geek squad geek trying to talk to me and yapping about how he doesn't like sports game or something like that...I forget exactly what he said since I was trying to ignore him and absorb the game...because of him, I was down 4-0 in the first

I had to leave after 3 innings but will try to stop by sometime soon (hopefully the geek squad guys has a day off or something )

Not sure what the TV was set to..I thought it looked good when i was playing it..Might be the way my phone took the vid. I know that the game will look great on my TV...not a doubt in my mind.

I wish I could have gotten some gameplay for you guys but it was hard for me to play at the same time I take a video..Plus there wasn't too many people there who were interested in playing the game so I can record them playing..go figure

yes i am saying that. more or less
not enough presentation/franny things.
i played a few hours so i was able to make a decision based on my personal playing prefs.
i am a HUGE stat/presentation freak.
i noticed the lineup card pops up and 2 seconds later its gone.
they dont even focus on a player anymore
i mean come on.
why?

to be honest i saw ONE, count it ONE stat drop down
the announcers names
dont be like Ea and madden where u start taking things OUT of a game.
I might be going on a limb in saying, SCEA being at the top for so long now might be hurting them unless they start reinventing themselves, a bit anyways.

i was STOKEd for this game but got worried when with a week to go we had one pure gameplay video, not counting the trailers or highlight package type ones.
I dont want to discuss anything non BB Kiosk related in here after this, so we can PM if you want.
