What game mode did the bug happen in?

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Playing as Dodgers in Pittsburgh's PNC Park. Auto fielding on. Doumit for Pirates hits a ball into left centerfield gap. The ball rolls into the nook just left of the visitor's bullpen which juts out into the field of play. Matt Kemp(Dodger's center fielder) and left fielder run towards it. Kemp is obviously closer but he gets stuck on the left corner of bullpen by the door and is basically just spinning his wheels while the left fielder watches this unfold from about 20 feet away(not moving). Meanwhile Doumit circles the bases for what the announcer called an inside-the-park homerun. The box score and stats credited him with a triple, however. I believe the angle that Kemp took to the ball made him run into the corner of the bullpen that juts out and he could not get to the ball on this path.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I imagine everytime, but I nor the computer hit a ball in that spot again.

This is a serious issue and I hope it gets addressed.

Just to add to this and it hasn't happened to me in 10 yet but this has happened to me before in 09, quite a few times. Thought maybe it was addressed and fixed. I know this was part of the glitches thread last year. Not sure what other ballparks this happens in.

Franchise - Spring Training game


How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

When starting a game the information bar shows the game time temperature at a ridiculously low temperature when I choose a MLB stadium. I've seen 0 degrees in SF and 4 degrees in San Diego.

Game mode:

Exhibition. Yankees/ Red Sox in Fenway. Pitch difficulty all star. Sliders all the same.

Issue:

Beckett is hitting 103 MPH on the gun with every fastball. Change-up is coming in at 96 to 98 MPH. Curve ball above 90 MPH as well.

Very strange as his numbers have never been this high. Assume it's a glitch.

just had a "piss me the f!$#@ off moment...Yankees vs DRays...bottom of the 9th...

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it?
as soon as banner popped up sayin' "Mariano Rivera now warming up in the Yankee bullpen"...my game froze!

Do not know, but in the beginning when it picks a player to watch in the game for commentary, it was mentioning Jacoby Ellsbury, was showing Pablo Sandoval, and the name on the overlay was Mark DeRosa.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I assume every time it spotlights Jacoby in that stadium.

When it shows Terry Francona, and it has an overlay of his WS wins, it shows 2003, when it should be 2004.

It is an overlay issue of wrong text.

Mark McGwire is not the Cardinals' hitting coach, and is not available in the pool of unemployed coaches to manually make him the coach.

It is a roster error that needs to be corrected.

Playing as Yankees in Franchise. Game has frozen up on me 4 times now (One time at Fenway, three times at Tropicana Field). The first three were all while I was batting and attempting to check the previous pitch location, the game froze in the middle of the menu popping up. The most recent freeze was more random as the catcher was throwing back the ball.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Quite frequently. I am 0 for 3 in completing the fourth game of my franchise without it freezing.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I cannot recall who was batting or pitching but here is the situation; AZ has a man on 1st and the guy at the plate has squared and pulled back his bunt on the first two pitches I throw (called strikes). I throw my third pitch and he squares and pulls back a third time. This time however the ball is "hit" back up the middle with no contact at all. I know that I should always be ready but obviously I did not get to the ball and they now had men on 1st and 2nd. I checked the replay from overhead and saw that the ball clearly and simply just changed direction as it reached the plate - almost as if it hit an invisible wall.


How often can the bug be reproduced?

No idea. I have not seen it since and am hoping it was a one time thing..... this was pre-patch if that helps.

Seems to usually happen in the 4th or 5th inning. Delay traffic appears then its all over. It locks up and then I'm disconnected from opponent.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every online game I've played, except for one, Ive been disconnect during the middle innings and received a loss while winning. Its not the loss im concerned about. I want to finish the game for once. Not to mention my sportsmanship score drops every time as well.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? When fielding a ground ball, attempting to throw to first sometimes results in throwing home. The first time, I thought I might have accidently hit X instead of O and shrugged it off, but the other two times I have been very careful of what buttons I press while fielding and it still happened again two more times.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
It has occurred once per game in 3 out of 8 games online so far.

It is possible that this may be a controller issue instead of a bug, so perhaps others can report if it happens to them. If it happens to others, it would eliminate my controller as a possible cause.

I had posted about this & even complained to the developers, but I believe that by pressing the R2 to dive for the ball (that was the situation that this would happen to me, when I would press R2 to dive for a ground ball hit in the infield heading toward the outfield) I must also be hitting the X button with the bottom inside of my thumb thereby causing the throw to home.

If you are doing something similar, you may be hitting the X button & not realizing it, before you hit the circle button.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Pitcher throws the ball in the dirt for ball four. When the next batter comes up, the "scorers decision" sign indicates "E2" and the catcher is credited with an error. It can be re-created.

It happens everytime that ball four is in the dirt.

Did you happen to press the "select" button on your controller at the time? If so, this is a known bug that happens in Tropicana Field.

When selecting a stadium to play in, if the game is played during the day and I scroll around, the game automatically becomes a night game if I scroll back to a stadium category the second time.

I.E. If I scroll to classic stadiums, then scroll back to the current ones, my 1 p.m. game becomes a night game. So far, I've just noticed this in spring training. Haven't tried it in the regular season.

Every time I've tried it so far.

What happened?
In RTTS, when I go on the road some stadiums will freeze the game when im finished with the pregame warmup hitting. It will freeze and I have to reboot the game. It hasn't happened at my home stadium and it is not every away stadium but it happens a lot.

How Often?
Very Frequently only at away stadiums during pregame hitting.
