What game mode did the bug happen in? (Front End, RTTS, Franchise, Gameplay, Online, etc....)

Season mode

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Playing in the 3rd game of season. All 30 times controlled by me. Brewers vs Rockies 7th inning. Batter Seth Smith gets a base hit and its annouced by Matt V. that we have a new all time hits leader of all time.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

RTTS

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Finished a Simulated Game, then moved to my next start after my monthly goals were met. The next start begins to load, and then freezes half way through the loading process. Music continues to play, then stops after 3 or 4 minutes. Need to quit the game to unfreeze the PS3.

Can recreate, everytime I load that RTTS. It goes through the training points for the simulated game, then the monthly goals, then next game. Freeze.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Everytime. Have tried it 5 times now, and every single time.

HR and base running bugs that have existed since '07 on the PSP, now showing up on the PS3. That guy running into the OF used to happen all the time on my PSP in '07.

There is really no excuse for this. I know, it is just a video game, and the guys are great, but I am shocked this game was released.

As soon as I exited an online game, the one loading screen comes on with the player of the game or some other stats, then the next screen comes up, the entire game freezes. Meanwhile, the menu music song plays in its entirety, until it's over. Then no other music is played. Game frozen, have to turn PS3 off.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

3 times I have exited a game, and 3 times this has happened.

There is really no excuse for this. I know, it is just a video game, and the guys are great, but I am shocked this game was released.

lol, mr drama much? you realize that its almost impossible to get every bug right? I am sure sony had 20 maybe 30 guys testing this. they will find the majority of things but **** will always slip though. maybe one person saw it and was never able to reproduce it. this game is great to play and fun. give them a little brake. be nice

but one nice part is that they are reading these so maybe a fix will in the works

This game is literally full of glitches. I too am shocked they released this game with the reputation SCEA has. I don't and will not play this game until a MAJOR patch is released.

PS- I'm not overreacting just deeply dissatisfied with this years edition

Pirates vs Dodger
Ryan Doumit hit one in the gap and the CF for the Dodgers got stuck in the outfield fence. Inside the park home run resulted. I have not seen this again.

Franchise mode
Temperature of 4 degrees in spring training games
Sometimes it is over 100 degrees. Temps never seem to make much sense.

Franchise mode
Cardinals vs Mets
Carlos Beltran hits HR in the first spring training game but the overlay at the top of the screen keeps reading that it is David Wright's first HR.

After you choose "End Spring Training", the CPU will "optimize" all rosters/lineups/pitching rotations to its own standards, even for teams that you have full manual control of. Clearly the CPU should not be touching the teams that you have full manual control of, and it's a major annoyance if I want all 30 teams to have the correct lineups; I'd have to set everyone's lineups and rotations correctly by hand even though they shouldn't have been changed by the CPU in the first place.

Every single time after you choose "End Spring Training"

maybe i just try to enjoy the game rather then freak out. i have yet to play a game that i haven't noticed issues/glitches. the one thing i like is that they are trying to fix them and are part of the community. most game companies once its out, dont seem to care.

Conflicting Check Swing Appeals

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I was playing an Exhibition Game with the Tigers versus Cubs in Wrigley Field. Top of the 2nd with runners on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out. Adam Everett at the plate.

Check swing appeal on a 2-2 count. The appeal goes down to the first base ump and he calls me out. The commentary confirms it and calls the 2nd out of the inning. Then it shows the third base ump calling a 'safe sign' and the commentary says "No, he didn't go, that's ball 3".

The out was in fact recorded and the next batter came to the plate with 2 outs.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not sure yet, but I'll report back if it happens again.

Reds vs Padres @ Petco, Maloney gave up opposite field HR to Kyle Blanks. Ball hits the foul pole and the game freezes, have to manually turn off PS3.

D'backs vs. Padres, game one of season. Brandon Webb at bat for first time in the game. Scrolling text underneath the score bar reads "Countdown to 4,000 - Brandon Webb currently has 3549 hits". That's not verbatim but it's close.

I think you are, how can you say anything about a game you don't play, I have the game and I haven't seen half the things people say go on. I think your out of your mind. SCEA will be fine without your approval either way. There doesn't need to be a "MAJOR" patch and if there was how can you comment on something you don't play. This is crazy. I'm sure there are somethings that warrant fixing but your sky-diving with no parachute when you write things like this. I just don't get it.

What happened?
At the end of the first round, two batters were tied for 4th. They had a five-swing tiebreaker. The final round also ended in a tie but there was no tiebreaker, the batter who went first that round was declared the winner. According to wikipedia on the derby: Should a tie exist between players at the end of any round, there will be a five swing swing-off to determine who will advance. Does that apply to the final round too?

How often?
First time I've seen that happen.
