What game mode did the bug happen in?
Franchise - playing as Yankees

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it?

Game froze two times in a row while playing against Rays. Game also froze during a Spring Training game.

Can you recreate it?

See above.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I've played about 7 games total and game has frozen 4 times. Game is unplayable. Seems to happen primarily at Tropicana field in late innings if you push select button.

Every single prospect made by CPU has no gear at all
No gloves, no sunglasses, no shin guard... Nothing!
Well it happened to 09 but I really hoped SCEA noticed and improve it but its same.
When every current player retire and replaced by prospects, it becomes so frustrated to see no one having any gears...
Can u please fix it?

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Whenever new player by CPU being drafted.


Please address this problem for franchise game players.

2,3,4,5 ---> Franchise

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
1.with one , other player tried sac bunted with ballcount two strikes and ball was fouled. He was called out but the baserunner at third came in and scored.. That one run costed my game and I lost 1-0....

2.I hit the ball with man on the first. That ball hit the baserunner but called safe. (not really unbearable tho)
CPU automatically traded my player with manual trade mode.

3. keep charging error to catcher when its not the case.

4. Heath Bell and Justin Verander is on the waiver after one season in franchise mode. I claimed on them. omg?

5. 'C' potential prospect is just traded for Josh Becket and Dustin Pedroia!? This kind of unrealistic trade happens a lot in Franchise mode.

Not sure if it is a bug or me holding the button too long, but using classic baserunning, I have slid into a base safely and then my man stands up and takes off for the next base with a fielder next to him and gets tagged out. It has happened more than once which makes me think it isn't me?

At least 3 that I can recall.

I was pitching.***nner on first..i use the outfield display when pitching and the baserunner window was showing the runner on 3rd base..funny..i had Lowell playing 3rd, but Ortiz was showing..it looked almost like a mirror image..but it was definitely 3rd base due to the position of the runner and his leadoff stance..

i struck out the batter and the window returned to normal when the next at bat came to the plate..

Frame Rate sucks compared to 09 and 08. Those games were a lot more fluid. Can this be fixed w/ a Patch?


It's not extreme drops, but I notice stutters and slow downs at times. It's not all the time, but it's enough to be annoying.


Replays stop half way thru. It seems it only happens when its extreme slow motion or showmotion.

Umpires blowing calls. Its one thing to miss the occasional call. But when it's really obvious and it happens in back 2 back games, something is wrong. On one play I tagged the bag and I could count to 2 before the base runner slid to the bag and he was still called safe. He was out by a mile

Manage Mode

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

A couple of things have occurred:
1. Computer somtimes "takes over", i.e. visits the mound, bunts, etc. without me telling it to.

2. I've tried to Hit and Run in three different games while playing manage mode, and all three times, the hitter attempts to bunt, misses, and the runner is thrown out.


How often can the bug be reproduced?

At will in MOM mode.

Playing online game, great connection with almost no lag...was Boston at home playing the Phillies losing 2-0 with Phillies batting, no outs and men on 2nd and third....decided to walk Chase Utley to set up double play and force at any base.....pressed buttons for intentional walk, catcher stepped to the side, took the pitch, umpire pointed batter to 1st...BUT Utley stayed in the batter's box and is still there 10 min later on my screen as we speak. I can tell the other player still has some control over him because ive seen him do the bunt motion a few times.

THe game can't be paused or anything. Just stuck in a view with the catcher off to the side and in front of the batter (but in other batter box), the umpire standing with his hands on his hips, and the batter standing there in the batting box in his full stance.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

not sure..happened once so far but will try and intentionally walk someone in another online game and see if the same thing happens

What happened?
At the end of the first round, two batters were tied for 4th. They had a five-swing tiebreaker. The final round also ended in a tie but there was no tiebreaker, the batter who went first that round was declared the winner. According to wikipedia on the derby: Should a tie exist between players at the end of any round, there will be a five swing swing-off to determine who will advance. Does that apply to the final round too?

How often?
First time I've seen that happen.

I was the Red Sox playing the Yankees at Fenway. After the top of the first the CPU took out Jeter and Granderson for Pena and Winn. Even double switched them to boot.

Barry Zito Pitching, Chris Davis Batting, and Bengie Molina Catching. Men on first and 3rd, 2 out.

1) Pitcher throws 12-6 CB for swinging strike 3 in the dirt.
2) Batter starts running to first because ball hit ground.
3) Catcher enters 'Throw ball back to pitcher from knees' animation.
4) User is unable to throw ball to first.
5) Ball teleports from pitcher's release point to catcher.
6) At this point, the user has control of the ball again.

By this time the runner has already safely reached first base.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Seen one time.

Man on first base, 1 out.

1) Batter hits line drive approximately 7-10 feet over the Shortstop's head.
2) Shortstop begins 'wave other infielders off' animation.
3) Ball lands in short center field for a hit.
4) Center fielder grabs the ball.
5) Approximetely 1 second elapses.
6) Ball teleports to Shortstop.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Seen once.
