How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Runner on 3rd. 2 Outs. Ground ball between 1B and 2B. 1B dives, grabs it, runs to 1st and gets the out.

Runner on 3rd crosses the plate before the out and the run is counted. The run should NOT count.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Happened every time this situation occurs.

Turned all ball marker aids off for auto fielding and ball marker aids still show up. Can recreate it in every game played.

Hit a foul ball that flies near where pitchers are warming up. Pitchers and catchers don't react to the ball.


How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every game played.

Expected Result:

Pitchers and catchers in the bullpen, like base coaches and pitchers on the bench in the pen, duck or dodge when a ball is flying towards them.

Bullpen pitchers and catchers reacting to the ball is more important than fans reaching for ground balls and falling out of the stands, which happens constantly.

Prospects are not promoted or placed on 40 man roster even after simming 3 or more seasons and they are the highest rated player on the roster.

Fielding on auto. A flyball to the gap. My LF goes into a spin animation near the wall while the CF stands there, resulting in an inside the park HR.

Can you recreate it?
Don't know yet. First time it's happened to me...

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I'm hoping it's not the case, but I'd guess anytime a ball is hit into the gap and the outfielders get to the wall and get stuck in that animation....

Rivalry Mode. I've tried to start a rivalry series two times and both times the game froze during either during the game or at the conclusion. Both of these were started after the patch that was released shortly after release.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

The first freeze came after the conclusion of game 1 in a 7 game rivalry. I clicked on the movie maker option for replays and it froze there. I was still able to access the PS Home menu, but the game itself would not progress. The 2nd time was in the middle of a game. It happened right after the cut scene showing the pitcher being injured, it froze after that scene with a shot of the stadium from what looked like a ceiling cam. The crowd still moved around and the sound continued, but the game would never leave that screen.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not really sure, it's happened each time I've tried a rivalry game. I haven't had any similar issues in any other game mode.

I'm playing as the Giants against the Yankees (the CPU). They're down by 1 run in the bottom of the 8th inning. Posada gets a double, and is pinch ran for by Randy Winn on 2nd base. Nick Swisher (the starting RF) is due up to bat right handed vs. Jeremy Affeldt and they pinch hit for him with Francisco Cervelli (a much worse hitter).

Once Cervelli makes an out and the inning ends, to start the 9th they sub out Cervelli with Marcus Thames (to play RF), and leave Randy Winn in the game to play catcher (which left them with no catchers). The more logical thing would've been to move Winn to RF and keep Cervelli in to play catcher, but this isn't what happened. The biggest issue probably is why pinch hitting for Swisher with a much weaker hitter in the first place.

I'm assuming any time this situation would arise.

Like '09, the commentary regularly screws up a team's record. Example, you're 9-6, and the commentary says late in the game that if this team pulls this game out, they'll be back to .500. The wording is off, but you know what I'm talking about - we've all seen it dozens if not hundreds of time.

Along a very similar vein. This year's game has a new pop up during games, showing the team's performance over the past 10 games. Mine has shown a couple of times as being 3-7, when my record in the last 10 is really 6-4 of 7-3.

Both of these are very odd bugs because it seems like something that should be easy to resolve...especially the commentary bug relative to .500 which is an old issue from '09.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

It happens regularly it seems - whenever the commentary AI calls for a reference to record over the past 10 games, or how many games you are off of .500.

clicking on select late in the game at Tampa with the visiting team (different visiting teams, different inning 7th once, 8th twice). The game just froze. Can hear the crowd still.

Last three games i played all at Tampa, appears fine elsewhere.

I pitched an inning of relief with Manny Declarmen. The next inning before pitching at all with Manny again, I tried to replace him with a pitcher I had already warmed up in the bullpen but it said something like "Manny Delcarmen can not be replaced." Then I pitched to one batter, got the out, then it let me switch to the next pitcher.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not sure. Happened only once - but I haven't played that many games yet.

You can't go to the XMB after an online game because it'll freeze the game or freeze while initializing the final score and it will never report the final score.

This has happen to me a bunch of times especially tonight when I won a great come backer in a league game...went to the XMB by mistake (knowing that it would freeze up) and BAM it froze while initializing back to the league menu and there goes my 1st win of the league...

this has gotten me pissed (sorry) and it's really messed up.

Going to the XMB while after you exit the post-game menu online

4-2 and 5-2 count.

I was A-Rod, full count. pressed check swing. the catcher asks the 1st base ump if I went around, I didn't. instead of a walk.. the at bat continued on. 4-2. I drew another ball so it was 5-2. then the next pitch I lined out to 3rd. (lol)

Played at Tropicana Field and when it hit the top of the 7th inning, I hit select to see how much stamina my starter had left and it froze before the screen could pop up. I could still hear things going on in the background but the screen stayed frozen.

Just happened to me once so far but from another topic over at gamefaqs, looks like it's specifically happens a lot when you play at Tropicana Field and it's the beginning of the 7th inning.

Ball Morphing into bat, EVERY at bat!
How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every time the ball makes contact with the bat, esspecially bad on fouls. PLEASE FIX along with ball morphing through fielders.
