What mode did this happen in?

What happened?
Hitter took a ball four on a 3-2 count that happened to be dropped by the catcher. Hitter ran to 1B like he would on a dropped third strike. Error was given to the catcher.

How Often?
Difficult to reproduce this situation. First time I'd seen it.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
I turned on "hot zones" in the frontend UI (in the RTTS menus) because I didn't realize what it did. I saw it and turned it off in-game and in the frontend UI. Now, every single game I play has hot zones on; I have to turn it off every time I enter the game.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Not sure; the second part is 100% reproducible.

What happened?
In RTTS, when I go on the road some stadiums will freeze the game when im finished with the pregame warmup hitting. It will freeze and I have to reboot the game. It hasn't happened at my home stadium and it is not every away stadium but it happens a lot.

How Often?
Very Frequently only at away stadiums during pregame hitting.

that happened to me twice before the update, hasnt seem to happen since then.

You have to change settings in the main menu and then save them. Anything changed in-game change for that game only and reset back when the game is over.

After I get done with Batting Practice in RTTS I press X to fast skip ahead so I don't have to sit there and watch the coach waive his arms at me....this goes on for what seems like a while so I just hit the X button to fast skip. Once I hit the X button the game freezes and my whole system freezes also. I checked to see if I had bad media (scratches or dust) but the disc is clean. It's caused me to lose at least three games of data.


How often can the bug be reproduced?

I've had this happen to me three times before I noticed that it was happening at the same moment each time. even when i press select to end Batting practice early and then try to fast skip ahead of the coach talking to me after BP it glitches out and freezes me.

It won't let me see the free agent pool. It box pops up that has the title Error. The box says "You must play at least one game to enter" I have already played 3 league games. However, the commissioner of the league has been able to sign free agents. All 3 of my league games so far have been aganist the commissioner.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Unknown.

I try to set my pitching rotation. It stays set when you hit back and then go to look at it again. However, if you log off and back into the league it does not save the rotation changes. Also, before you start the game when you are picking your starting pitcher the rotation is all jumbled up from what your pitching rotation screen says. Before the game, it also does not list the next starter at the top of the rotation.

Trades do not go through online. When you go to accept a trade it lets you accept, but then it never puts the traded player on your team. You are still stuck with the old player. This may be because after you accept the trade, you must have to play one game after the trade is accpeted.

Every time I play an online league game

Previously I had tried to steal a base and got called out. Afterward I got a warning from the manager that I did not have the green light. Later on in another game I was on first and was given the Hit and Run sign from the 3rd base coach. I ran and the batter did not make contact with the pitch. I got thrown out at second. In game got a I got a Goal Canceled message. After the game the manager sent me a message saying "I guess the warning didn't stick....I'm benching you..."

WTF!!!! It's not my fault the batter didn't make contact!

Haven't encountered the situation again.

Homerun info keeps showing on the main screen even after almost every pitch after a homerun is hit..it will also show up in later innings..sometimes with a players name that didn't even hit the homerun

Pressing up to enter the quick menu to replace a pitcher and then exiting..overlay stayed on the main screen..had to go back into the menu to get rid of it

3. Cannot sub for pitcher

Subbed Mike Lowell for Tim Wakefield vs. the Mets..I wanted to keep Lowell in the game and put him at 3rd, replacing youk at 3rd..after the inning was over, i was told to make a def. sub if i wanted to keep lowell in the game..but when i went to do it..i was told i couldn't sub for the pitcher

---I have also noticed an improvement in the collision detection..however it is spotty at best..one minute it's there, the next minute it is gone..but there is still A LOT of ghosting going on..


---the announcing has gotten better but Big Papi isn't putting up MVP type numbers lately..(or in the past 2 years)..but every MLB The show he's the Perennial MVP..and he spits in his gloves just about every time he swings his bat..not just once..i would love to hear about more factoids about each player..and not the same stuff we've been hearing for 4 years..

--is it me or are errors given? i've seen many situations where an error should have been given so far..but it comes up as a base hit for the batter..this could mean something if you are pitching a no-hitter or a perfect game...


overall..i think the game is great! much better than years past..but there is still room for improvement..i find the ghosting to be quite annoying when mits go through people..
it's not good for debate..and causes my brother to punch me

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Tried to quit MLB 10 to go the PS3 menu. Message said please wait on a black screen. The PS3 would beep twice, controller would shut off, and reset instead of softly going to the PS3 menu.

Happens 9 out of 10 times on my PS3 slim.

Bottom 8th inning. Yankees at bat. Playing in ATT park. I pinch hit and put in Randy Winn as the hitter. The team management window has not gone away. It's still taking up the entire left side of the screen. Pinch hitter, pinch runner first, pinch runner second etc is what's in the team management window. The select, up/down and back items are also there. Hitting anything doesn't remove the window. Never tried to recreate it. This is a HUGE major BUG that MUST be fixed!

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Don't know. It's alot though that it happens.

Game is again stuttery. It seems lowering pitch speed in the global sliders makes the game more stuttery. Raise back to default and it is a bit less stuttery, but still stuttery now.

Another issue is every game any mode the catch region indicator is on even if you turn it off in profile and in game sliders during the game. Rob HR indicator stays on and so do the other indicators. Turning them off does nothing. This happens every mode every game.

I confirmed, at least on my console that when I quit out of the game and to XMB screen, the PS controller turns off.

*Only happens with the controller that came with my PS3, not the dual shock that I purchased after.

*Same goes for training modes, original controller will not work in these modes but dual shock will.

Same issue, this happens every time a ball four in the dirt. I played the Phillies one game and it happened four times and Ruiz had four errors.

Hit a SF in the 5th scoring the runner from 3rd. Game log shows my SF under the RBI bit but my scoreline shows no RBI.
