Re: MLB '10: The Show - Franchise Issues Update
You'd think a major bug like that would have to be.
But it won't be an easy fix and sure won't be done by this monday.
Some guys have said they have played as the O's and other teams at Trop Stadium and finished their games ... There has got to be more to it, than what we're seeing.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Franchise Issues Update
I'm still looking.
At first offer...I was so disappointed(unwarranted)...as I thought the offer was 2 players from DET to my Mets...they were two players from Seattle or somewhere...so I'm thinking that the trades were done "behind my back".....then I saw the team on top of the trade box and realized what was happening.....and it was a GOOD thing!
Can some other guys try this?....and post if anything is a downside to this.
So far to me...it looks like the best of both worlds...controlling trading for everyone...but STILL getting the CPU to offer trades.
Add this to possibly fixing some of the contracts and we could have a workable franchise to use right away.

I simmed through two seasons after reading this and not one trade was completed without my approval. Looks like it works until they patch it.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Franchise Issues Update
For those having issues at Tropicana Field Ive got a few questions.
1. Is Tampa Bay warming up a particular pitcher at the time that it freezes?
2. If Tampa is hitting, is there a particular player that might be pinch hitting at the time of the freeze?
What I dont get is if its the stadium causing the problem then why is everyone reporting a freeze in the 7th inning and on instead of right off the bat? Secondly, if the game is freezing around the same time frame, maybe they are warming the same reliever up and its causing this issue for some unknown reason. I could be totally off base here but figured it was worth asking as its effecting so many. Has anyone played a game there with two teams other then the Rays?Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Franchise Issues Update
Is there some sort of 7th inning ritual or special "Take me out to the ballgame" being played? Perhaps it's a corrupt audio file.
I doubt it's one MR or PH because it would happen in more than just the 7th inning.@MikeLowe47 | YouTube | Discord

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Franchise Issues Update
I dont know, just trying to help is all. I figured maybe the game was warming up the same pitcher when this was happening as last year the game seemed to use the same relivers a ton instead of using everyone in their pen. If its not right then its not right but I have a hard time believing its merely the stadium causing it since its not happening until late in the game everytime so far.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Franchise Issues Update
Can somone confirm whether or not AI teams call players up because of performance and NOT just injuries?
Was there a fix yet for the multiple closers not being on a MLB roster?
Sounds like a while before a waiver fix...how are people dealing with this to start a franchise without having to wait 1-2 months to do so? I've read some of this thread but not all of it and am wondering what people are doing to combat some of the wackiness.
Last question, do the quirky franchise transactions affect RTTS at all?
Looking for confirmation on these issues before buying tonight after work! Thank you fellow MLB Show'ers!
i'd like to know this as well, Mike.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Franchise Issues Update
Anyone else having issues where the cpu controlled teams in franchise are using lineups that are not realistic at all. For example the Tigers have Damon batting clean up, the White Sox are using their backup catcher (Castro) as their DH and have Gordon Beckham hitting 8th, the Cardinals have Holliday hitting second, and I've seen the Dodgers have Matt Kemp leading off and Furcal hitting 5th or 6th, Also the Cubs have Derrick Lee hitting second, the Red Sox have Youkulis hitting second, and the Indians have Peralta or Choo leading off with Sizemore hitting third. Anyone know a fix to this ?
I've tried controlling all the teams, which works, but then no trades ever get accepted or proposed unless you do them since you're controlling all 30 teams. It also takes forever to go through all the injury tweaks for each team when a guy gets injured for a day or two, or on the DL. There has to be some middle ground here I hope where you can play a franchise, not have to control the roster of every team, but also not have the CPU make unrealistic lineup changes either. Maybe something to control the lineups, rotations and rosters of the CPU teams, but still letting them accept or propose trades and manage their own budgets etcComment

Not a big deal, and would take only a minute. But still ...Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Franchise Issues Update
This is what I was asking earlier. Controlling all 30 teams extinguishes every bug 'cept for this one. You still see some crazy lineups ... About the only solution would be to adjust the lineups before you play each team ...
Not a big deal, and would take only a minute. But still ...
The CPU will still sub for fatigued players in game....
...and mss4481....controlling all 30 teams...you will still GET trade proposals..FOR EVERY TEAM....you just have to choose whether to accept them or not. The only thing that won't work is you proposing trades to the other teams(actually....I don't even know that won't work....gotta try it!)

If you set LINEUPS/ROTATIONS to MANUAL....you set them and they will stay.
