Will there be two player manage mode only in this game? Thanks.

Unfortunately not yet.
I'm hoping for a real overhaul(including this option) for next year....and I really think we'll get the ability to go head to head online with manage only mode next year as well.(REALLY think so )

anyone know if the numbers for closers are more upto par..? the save numbers have always been pretty good but innings pitched/strikeouts are down in comparison to most guys..just wondered if they upped this part of the game to combat the "100 appearance reliever"

I don't know if you saw that Brian reworked some of the MR appearance logic. Those numbers are down by about 20 appearance across the board(the 100+ is now 80+....90+ is now 70+) and they've also tied in three in game sliders(manager hook-SP stamina-RP stamina) into simmed games so you can really fine tune.
While I did check the SP numbers when I tested the new code(which Brian changed right then..while I was there!)...I didn't think to look at CP. I always thought those numbers were good and I'm guessing with MR decreasing...I'm guessing the CP numbers will probably increase slightly.

Hopefully it's not too late, but in the thread about Hans Smith, I saw Whitey Herzog's number 24 was not up with the other retired numbers.

What about Stan the Man's number? If memory serves, that's also been missing from Busch the last couple of seasons in The Show.

They have his number under the scoreboard, not on the LF wall. Yes, I would love it if they put all the numbers and names on the LF wall, but SCEA doesn't have the rights to some of those players.

This is sad I've played mlb the show since mlb the show 07 and for them to still not have more stats in the game other than (Avg,Hr,rbi and sb) for the batter is absurd...Look at everything mlb 2k has in it..Guess I will be waiting till next year again.

They don't even include the name of the teams the player played for each year. I mean every baseball game has that right? I believe it's essential for a sim-baseball game to include this.

Also historical stats for every player should be included not just 2010 and on.

Just reading through this thread now, and had to comment on this.

I love The Show and have bought it the last 4 years. But I just can't justify buying it again until we can customize season length. I hate simming with my team and can't play 162 games a season.

Of course, I realize that it's probably a lot of work to do, so I understand why they prioritize other things.

Stats and Batting Stances and you can throw stadiums in there. This complaining **** is getting old. Go play Atari 2600 baseball then see if you come back with those complaints for the Show.

Do the closers have a entrance animation when entering from the pen? I've always wanted the closers to have an extended walk / run from the pen to the mound. Also any reason Franciso Rodriguez and Mariano Rivera have a speciall closer entrance that no other team has? Just wondering thanks in advance.
