Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
Do the closers have a entrance animation when entering from the pen? I've always wanted the closers to have an extended walk / run from the pen to the mound. Also any reason Franciso Rodriguez and Mariano Rivera have a speciall closer entrance that no other team has? Just wondering thanks in advance.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Any new dynamic home run animations? (Like Juan Uribe throwing up his hands after hitting a home run)

I'm skipping this year but I do want to see more stadium shots. As Yankee was ugly as all mell last year I want to see what they did with that as well as any updates to Target and some of the lesser stadiums that get cold shoulder. This game will be hard to pass up in 12 but with the PS4 so close oh man it's going to be tough. College or 12. Hmmm.Comment

In fact, there was some last minute changes they did based on the feedback at the CE.
I mentioned to them about the foul poles needing the netting, as well as changing the seats in the outfield bleachers to the "grey silver" to differentiate from the blue seats (lets hope that makes it).
Also the Yankee Stadium sign has been spaced accordingly. Just before I left they showed 42 and myself those great changes I did not expect them to make this late.
The foul poles look AMAZING, and he also did a lot of other things that was not requested (like the fencing around the RF open air walkways, etc). And the Boss's plaque in monument park.
He is the same artist that works on Target, and let me tell you, they both look majorly improved!!!
Also they fixed the crown on top of the scoreboard at Kauffman right then and there, and that looks fantastic as well. The right shiny gold texture, and the diamond grid pattern.
All the stadiums have been gone through, and have the unique jumbotron layouts, new HD boards for this year, and other things that may have been missed. I have been emailing the Sr. Environmental Artist pics that he needs, etc for the stadiums up until this past week... so they are working down to the wire.
I think everyone is going to be pleased with their stadiums this year. Every year they get closer and closer to perfection.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

EnigmaNemesis I have scene the one screenshot of progressive field in cleveland the scoreboard and it looks great. Can you explan in detail how does the rest of the stadium will look? Will it look as close to the progressive field I see on tv or in person? Because to me in years past it has'nt looked right the indians moved the championship banners to the right field upper deck in 2008 and they installed a batter's eye bar in 2005 in right center field. Thanks and keep up the good work.Last edited by kenkraly2004; 01-27-2011, 10:01 PM.Comment
