Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
We have seen how user errors can be made in regards to throwing with the analog stick, but have any changes been made to the standard button throw to allow more user errors as well?
nemesis04 may have this answer in his next write up, but if not if anyone knows, thanks in advance.#WeAreUKComment

I was wondering if pitching rotations have been improved so starters will pitch every 5th day? Also do teams go with 3 and 4 man rotations in the playoffs? Sorry if this has been already answered but i never saw it anywhere.Comment

no I haven't, but like you are hoping they did. My guess, and its merely my guess, is that it will be the same as last year, as they seemed to have focused on other aspects of franchise mode this year, since it wasn't a targeted area for this development cycle.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Yeah thats kind of what I wondered but I know it's been brought to their attention the last couple years so I thought they might have attempted to get it in.Comment

Nemsis....I just read ur fielding update. I must say I am deeply dissapointed in the report. This is really getting frustrating. It's almost as if they assume people use auto-fielding and they find no reason to update the biggest glaring issue in this game.
"Little tweaks" just doesn't cut it. Are they not aware it needs a full overhaul? There are 2 glitches that i really hope they fixed.Comment

All throws to the C from the OF go to the top of the right shoulder of the C. He ALWAYS has to reach up to his right before appyling the tag while he is standing at the plate. I'm not talking about "up the line throws". These are right on target but he has to reach across his body.
Any ball hit in front of the plate, when the P or C throws to First, the 1b or 2b (whoever is covering) ALWAYS stand off the bag and then tries to step on first. I understand the concept, but there is a HUGE delay in stepping on the bag hence the runner is always safe.Comment

Don't know if it's been asked, but has the fielder identifier been changed(don't know what exactly it's called). It's the thing that shows which fielder the user is currently controlling. It was like a blue circle under the fielder last year I believe.
I remember last year people didn't like the look of it and wanted it to be more like nhl where it's just like an arrow above the players head and that's itComment

Ok, i know ive heard and read that errors in fielding are solely on the user this year. However, is that the case for classic controls or just analog? My Newport Falcons Football Dynasty (Teambuilder) (CFB25)

No, only for analog stick controls. For classic controls the longer you hold down the throw button, the harder and more accurate the throw.FTP=PTFComment
