This pic cuts off a little bit....but the far side of the bleechers (which u can see in this pic) look the same as the part of the pic that is cut off. They are silver

I can add one thing from your picture too.

The last "E" in YANKEE and the "S" in STADIUM are too close to together in MLB The Show.

Can you ask the developers if they can spread YANKEE and STADIUM apart a little more to be more accurate with the pictue in this post?

This always bothered me a little.

Heres a bit of a unique question im not sure you can get to but....
Have you guys been in a playoff game yet? I was wondering if the crowd had better animations while waving towels... In the Mauer commercial last year it looked great but in the game it looked different... bad different, like they didnt know what they were doing and they werent very visible from a distance...

if you cant get to this no problems

Speaking of playoffs, I would be interested to know if they have added the 2 extra umpires (left field and right field lines) for those games, as well as for the All Star game. Not a big deal but it would add a nice touch of realism to the game. Thanks in advance for cheking.

I have the same problem and I'm hoping that setting a camera a little lower will help with this, as I'm constantly swinging at pitches I think will be in the lower part of the zone that's, uh, NOT!

Is the batting better as far as picking up the ball depth perception wise. That's my main problem (with me more than the game likely) when hitting. Do the new views help with this. I mainly swing at a ball that looks. Knee high (roughly) and they end up being way low. Again I know it's mainly my eyes but thought maybe the new game would help. That along with picking it up distance to plate being sometimes rough....

Hope 3d helps also. Play any 3d yet?

Anyone in attendance or Knight,
I know Knight was gonna push for this, but has there been any changes to coaches? Is it all the same coaches (No Bench or Bullpen coaches) and can we fire them mid-season yet?

Im at work and cant go through all the comments to see if it has been asked , so really quickly has anyone seen if the fielders have batting gloves on under their fielding gloves. With everything else added so far this is the only thing im missing. Thanks.

Just saw Enigma say that co-op can't be played in franchise this year. Pretty disappointing news to some of you I would imagine (including myself), but there's always next year. I'm assuming you meant you can't play co-op in season mode as well? If you could confirm that I'd appreciate it.

question for those who tested Franchise mode :

last year, a nice feature ( or bug ???) was that we were acting as God on every transaction coming by. After patch, no more popup and we had to go to Pending Transactions screens and cycle through all teams to do something similar.

How is it this year ???

You must check pending transactions by design. It was actually a bug the other way last year that got fixed.

This was metioned earlier and a bug from last year - but has the disappearing backstop netting from the pitcher/outfield view been fixed? Not sure on the sequence that causes the disappearance but it does happen regularly and it was noted from the CES vids that it still seems to be doing it....might be worth a mention to the SCEA guys while you're there men.

Not major but a "nice to have" fix if possible.

Does the crowd ever catch foul/ homerun balls? Or when you hit a foul groundball and they reach onto the field will they actually pick it up?

I always thought it would be amazing if fans make the catch sometimes, or pick up the ball when it goes into the stands

can anyone check and see if the weather still automatically makes the players wear long sleeves and also is the weather temps fixed they were all over the place last year almost every night game was cold and every player auto had sleeves, thx in advance

I haven't seen this noted yet, but I have 2 questions:

1) can switch hitters be assigned 2 different batting stances?

2) can we edit the physical features of mlb players during a franchise, for example if Youkilis grows or shaves his beard, etc?

No...but you will be able to replace a player with a created player with the potential you like. Doesn't help for real MLB players(unless you don't mind a created one)...but...

I think they do this so from the default batting camera you see YANKEE STADIUM instead of ANKEE STADIUM.....Cause it seems it just fits on screen...Id rather it be all there, then half a$#ed

I don't know if it's possible, but could someone check into player offseason progression if that's changed at all? Oh yeah, and are the main menu roster editing and roster control stuff still the same as last year or are they combined?

I apologize in advance for bringing this up again. I didn't see a response to it (and I promise it'll be the only time I bring it up).

Anyways, just based on the plethora of information here, it's too bad we'll have to wait another year for a drastic change in franchise, but I think it's been a pattern where one year the team makes big strides to RTTS then the next it's franchise. I'm really digging the screenshots and information for RTTS and I think I can safely assume that there is more leniency in attempting stolen bases this year.

As long as the amount of trades between high-potential prospects has been toned down a bit I think I'll be fine with this game.

I was bummed to read in the CD impressions that you can't play co-op in franchise mode, but what about a single season? I sure would like the mode to be available for more than just one off games.

Knight, you mention few weeks ago you would check if they added an UTILITY player position instead of the traditional SS/2B 1B/3D ......

I wish they'd include this possibly in next year's game!

Can you guys get a picture of the Busch Stadium scoreboards and the LF area including the area of Big Mac Land.

In every version of this game, the Cardinals have STILL had the old Busch Stadium diagram in the "set ticket prices" area in franchise mode. That stadium has been demolished for six years now. Have they fixed this bug and put in a picture of the new Busch Stadium?
