A couple questions for the upcoming game that I noticed from last year. I'm sure they have been asked but this thread is HUGE!

1. Are the baserunners smart enough to stay at second base when they should or will they be thrown out at third again frequently?

2. The confidence meter seems to play a huge role in the game, pitchers give up like four hits in five pitches when the meter is low. Any adjustments here?

3. Will the catchers throw out a typical percentage of runners? It seemed like they threw out too many last year.

I didn't realize this was in... this is awesome news!

I just want Nem or Brett to confirm this. I'm pretty sure I asked about this and they stated that the SCEA website would host this for the online league info. I'm pretty sure you can peruse other online league also, as far as stats/standings etc.

Could anyone confirm that the Mets uniform combos were right? Specifically, the helmets.

The helmets correlated with the hats:

all-blue hat = all-blue helmet (home, pinstripe)
black and blue hat = black and blue helmet (road, home on occassion)
all black hat = all black helmet (alternate black jersey, worn both at home and on road)

I believe EN was checking this out and told the devs. Not sure about helmets and how many they can have. He'll chime in.

Are the indians home hat and home helmet going to be corrected for this years game red and navy for home and navy for alternate home and alternate cream colored home jersey? And for the braves away navy cap for road and alternate away uniform?

I'm almost positive that EN pointed this out and it was fixed.

did they adjust the camera so you can see the ball go over the wall at fenway this year on a HR?

and my yearly question- can you start a franchise with all computer generated players (no mlb players)??

I believe the HR camera is the same....and with the addition of the ability to swap out any player from your base roster you can get ALL fictional players or ANY and ALL potentials. Caveat right now.....the salaries will be the low generated player salaries...but I have plans to ask SCEA to upload a "template" of fake players with escalating salaries(from say 1 mil to 15 mil) so that we can populate a fake league with some higher paid(right off the bat) salaries. Whether they do that or not...

quick question... is the generic pitching motion still the same? I can't tell you how much I hate generic pitching 1

I noticed it looking MUCH better. Pet peeve of mine last year. I didn't get a lot of full games in...but I saw balls hit to the CF'er that would have been a 1st to 3rd last year...and the runner stayed at 2nd

It was adjusted...toned down.

3. Will the catchers throw out a typical percentage of runners? It seemed like they threw out too many last year.
Didn't get to check it out. There is always a global AS reduction.

Could someone just keep putting the idea of being able to print rosters etc next year. Since the ps3 has printer feature. No biggie but if doable that would be cool.

Since Wind has been a part of the show for many years will we see it blow the rain to the side on a windy rainy day? Does it ever gets windy? Never saw it in previous games.

Has anything changed off the field in road to the show? Can you know do something with your Money? Is there a press conference like in NBA 2 k? Thanks

Hey Knight, a couple quick questions for when you have the time:

1) I didn't see if you were able to post that screenshot of the new ticker...?

2) With the Player Vault, can you fully edit players who you download, including faces? I figure there's a good chance I download some players from the PV, who someone else has created in great detail (statistically, etc), but who they didn't take the time to make the faces as accurate as possible. Perfectly understandable for someone who's making a bunch of players, but I don't mind taking the time to edit MY downloaded Cubs players' faces to look even better (and even re-upload with a new and improved face).

The players uploaded to the Player Vault will be generated so yes, I'm sure once you DL one you can edit any part of them. Knight talked about how different people could be in charge of editing different things, which obviously wouldn't be possible if you couldn't edit them once you DL them.
