There's one thing in particular that always bugs me, and I really hope it didn't go unnoticed. Whenever your outfielder is fielding a ball, not matter where they are on the warning track, even if their momentum isn't taking them in the direction of the wall, they always press up against the wall. This is especially irritating when you know there'd actually be time to throw the runner out, or at least prevent them from taking an extra or additional base.

Anybody know if this has been addressed in this year's game?

What's the commentary like this year? I know they added a new person to the commentary team, but will it be like actual sports where all 3 talk during the broadcast or will it be like last years game where you hear Matt Vasgersian talk for 98% of the game.

Does the CPU offer you arbitration on your walk year?

I'm guessing you mean in RTTS?
I don't see why they wouldn't if you were an A or B type FA.
They do for players in franchise.



The commentary wasn't totally redone......Karros added and Matt and Dave recorded a lot of new commentary also.

Last year it never showed the CPU offering arbitration, yet they always received compensation. I now remember posting that in the bugs thread. Check it out I may be wrong but I remember it working right in 09 but not 10.

The reason I ask is because I just played through a contract for MLB '10 and there was no mention of arbitration. And yes, I was referring to RttS.

Does anyone know if the added audio ....(home win song or reliever entrance music) will now play longer and not cut off so soon...Id like to hear the entire new york, new york theme song at a home yankee win...or hear enter sandman while I am throwing my warm up pitches? This would be great

Hey guys, I've got another question. Were there any adjustments made to the effects of the ball hitting the pitcher? I always hate it when I absolutely smash a ball, only to have it hit off the pitcher like a piece of lead. Not only does it drop without rebounding, but the pitcher acts like nothing happened and he ends up throwing me out.

I remember back in the days when I didn't have a PlayStation 3, I was forced to play the MLB 2K series on the Xbox 360. For as bad as those games are, there's one thing I thought they did right: injuries. I remember I once hit the ball right back at the pitcher and it nailed him in the head. I made it to safely to first, but the pitcher didn't get up. He had to leave the game with a concussion and the other team had to bring in a reliever.

It'd be nice to see these kinds of things touched on in The Show, sooner rather than later. But, nonetheless, the guys at SCE San Diego do a great job.

It was said toward the end, when the CD guys left, it was lenghtend but not to the entire song. From what I read that they were going to try and get it longer but that no promises were made.

I know I will get destroyed if this has already been asked but I have tried searching the thread and reading all of it and I didn't see it but I could have missed it,

Anyway, I was wondering if franchise sim settings have been looked at. In MVP you could sim by half inning and intervene at the start of any half inning. Obviously not a big deal overall but I wondered if this has ever been looked at.

You can skip to half innings or whole innings already. Is that the same as what you are asking?

Sorry for the late reply and not being very specific. I know you can fast forward through the game while you are in the game, but what I was meaning was from the franchise screen. Like instead off entering the game, you could simulate half inning by half inning until you wanted to intervene and then it would send you off to the game. Sort of how RTTS works until you get into the game, but you would decide when you got in the game.
