I'm trying to figure what they actually added to the game this year. They evidently didn't fix manage mode. They added some animations, fixed some batting stances, is that about it? Better eye candy?

Yeah that's all. Not worth a purchase so check back in a year.

I have, and from a manage mode player it appears they have applied makeup to the bearded lady instead of giving her a shave.

Hopefully that isn't the case and there are changes on the way which our community day visitors missed.

Well, I don't think the bearded lady is supposed shave that is why she is called the bearded lady!

Anyway, we did not really miss anything so don't expect a rabbit out of a hat or something like that. MOM got minimal updates but it sounded like it would get attention at some point. Realistically a mode that does not have a huge following is not going to lead the charge in innovation. Sorry for your disappointment!

I have a question, I didnt see this asked. In the bottom corner of the screen when batting, there is a flashing icon that says "press square for power". Can we toggle that on/off this year? Just a pet peeve of min, no biggie, I was just playing The Show 10 and noticed it again and thought I would ask. thanks.

There are probably more button mashers who play this game but the devs of the high heat series were surprised when they found out how many people played manage mode. I suspect SCEA is also underestimating the number of people who play their game in manage mode.

I've asked this question too. CD guys said the HUD will be fully customizable this year.

We did? I thought it was an early preview that misspoke on it.

I think the pitching meter can be moved and have it's size changed, do not know about anything beyond that.

I know its probably very hard but i thought i would ask. Do the announcers and crowd this year capture the excitement of a baseball game?? Like will i hear a difference in the noise from game 1 of my season to maybe a walk off shot to even playoff games?? I know in 10 you heard a slight pop but it wasn't nearly what the moment called for more often then not, from both the announce team and the crowd.

There is a louder ambiance and overall crowd atmosphere in rivalry games, etc ... playoffs while we were there, could still use some more work in that area. But they were very focused on improving on it, and when they heard our feedback, we were snagged up and watched real life video and wrote done key things we would like to be focused on for the game.

So they hear our cries, what adjustments were made since is unknown, especially with such short amount of time. But I have high hopes for the future in this area.

Thats awesome, even if its only a little better i am happy they even listen to what we have to say it gives me great hope for possibly this year but definitely next aswell. Im still excited to play this years game again with my brother so i can blame losses on him and not the computer players on my team
