I went through the hats and Jersey's and did not notice any different ones but I didn't really focus on those in The Show 10 so I might have missed a new one or two. I don't think Russell told me they have new Jerseys but I am 100% content with the ones they do have in 11.

Yeah I posted it last year as well but hey they can only do so much in a year. It's just that I like playing there but that ugly thing just sets me off every time haha. Oh well I'll post it again this year.

      Thanks for the (fast) reply!

Thanks. Although I am disappointed to hear that. I was hoping RTP was going to continue to get improved.

Did you use Zack Greinke? If so, did they change his pitching motion from last year?

I did not get a chance to use him.

Well, I didn't notice anything different and I could have sworn that I asked Russell about the RTP and if it's the same and he said yes. Don't hold me to it though as maybe it's a little different but I certainly didn't notice.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the options were always changing. People tweaked things or there would be people watching me play or taking pictures and I didn't want to be sitting at an options screen the whole time you know?

Yeah that is kind of surprising. I remember SCEA talking about it last year that it would be the future of sports gaming, RTP that is. I wonder if they had a change of heart or maybe it is one of those things that is not implemented until the later stages of development.
Either way, with all of the improvements this year it's definitely forgivable.

Can you go into more detail about all the new analog systems?<O</O
                  <O
You said you liked the pitching, what was it that made it so enjoyable? Did you notice a big difference from pitching with analog versus the old way? Did you notice a big difference between pitching on the new system with a good pitcher versus a poor one?<O</O

Does how fast you move the stick back forward really have an impact on the pitch speed? For example, can you add and subtract? Throw a ‘get me over’ say 90 mph fastball with a guy, but then power up to hit like 95 mph when you have two strikes, etc. Or is the difference not that much? How does moving it at different speeds impact breaking balls – more/sharper break?<O</O
                  <O> </O>
You said it will take getting used to hitting/fielding – what did/didn’t you like? Does it feel natural? Also, had you previously played the NCAA series at all? If so, is it similar to that hitting system in its design and execution?<O</O
                  <O</O

With throwing in the infield, how responsive did you find throwing at varying speeds across the field. Can you easily take your time and lightly throw the ball across the field versus those you have to rush and get away quickly and throw hard? Is it noticeably easier to do the latter when you have time/take your time?
                  <O</O
                  <O</O
Sorry for 20 questions, but you asked for it J<O</O

Yah... I'm not really upset about it, as I still found the Broadcast presentation to be WAY better. With so many unique cutscenes and little things, RTP presentation, at this point, just can't mimic that. It was cool for about two games, but after seeing the same celebration and HR animations over and over and over again, I never touched it again.

Give me a broadcast presentation with a no-replay option and I'll be satisfied.

I thought you could turn off replays in the broadcast presentation. You have to do it in game though. If you pause, select broadvast presentation and scroll down you should be able to edit what you get in broadcast presentation. Could be wrong though.

                        - I also think that maybe RTP got a lot of upgrades because we arent hearing anything about it. Even when I ask some of the guys at CD they arent saying anything. It makes me wonder what is to come of this. But again, I could be wrong!

really? you think I may change it in game ? I'm not at home, can't give it a try. If I remember, it was possible to turn it off in 08 and/or 09 version.

                            - I think so, lol, I'll check in a little while and get back you. But replays are the reason I chose broadcast over RTP so I have never tried it. but I have seen where there are options just not sure if they are editable.

Well, analog pitching just feels like you are in more control. It also feels better when you hit the target. Say I want to pick a fastball low and away, the meter on the way back up with make me turn the analog in that direction. It feels better. I did not really pitch with any bad pitchers but the meter took longer to get to the bottom with Haren than it did with Weaver for example if that makes sense.

Being able to pitch faster or slower like in 10 was something I didn't really recognize. I do know that if you went below the line at the bottom than the ball would be low in the zone and vice versa. I forgot to ask Russell that question but I'm sure there is some way to do it. As far as breaking balls go, it would depend on if you hit the target on the way back up.

Hitting wise, I have not played the NCAA games but the analog batting will take some getting used to and I don't think it felt that natural right away like the pitching did. If you just hold down the whole time and then up, you won't get good contact. You like have to hit back as the ball is leaving the pitchers hand and then go back up and it the direction of the pitch to make some solid contact. I almost felt like at times I didn't really have any control over what I was doing. At this point, I prefer the button(old way)much more. Left analog still influences a pop fly or grounder but again, I just like aiming with the left stick and swinging with the button much more as of right now.

Throwing in the infield and outfield with analog is not very hard at all. When you make an error now, it's mostly on you. Russell could pretty much purposely make an error like 80% of the time. I didn't notice the rush throws opposed to the ones where you take your time. I did notice that a lot more balls bounced before they got to 1st if you were throwing with the SS or 3rd baseman if you did a quick throw when you had a lot of time so maybe that answers your question.

i loved 10 and the only thing in this whole game for 11 that concerns me is if they fixed the way the dugouts look in turner field. alot of parks like pnc, miller, and minute maid look awesome but turner field always looks like crap. man i hoped they fixed this.
