But when EA or any other game like COD releases a map pack for 15 dollars. People cry and say that they are robbing us clean and should be much cheaper but others want to drop $55 on something they said they do not need but gotta have it.

I gotta admit, it's pretty damn cool. The worst part is, is that I don't even need it, I just like what it looks like. I have to be the most immature 32-year-old on the planet...lol.

I get a little angry from time to time. I do the same things I did when I was 12 (smacking the side of the controller, squeezing it, or maybe even the occasional "toss"). The only problem is that now that I'm all grown (at least physically) I'm about 500 times stronger. Things break now. And yes, it's pathetic but Im not afraid to admit it.

Really? So they releasing a baseball graphic controller that does nothing different then the one you already have is not trying to profit from the popularity of the show.

I have zero issues with SCEA doing this because they are a business.

But what I am saying is that those that say that COD or any other game that releases content for 10-15 dollars and get blasted. But then go and buy a $55 controller that they claim they do not need but they buy it because they are fans of baseball. LOL

So SCEA just made about $120 on one game but COD or any other game makes $60 for the game and 15 for the map pack that brings a newness to the game unlike a controller with a baseball graphic.

If Madden 12 comes out with a controller for $55 next year along with the release of the game. Will people not bash them?

Not really.
Some people have to buy new controllers for a variety of reasons. They in turn may choose to purchase this controller.
Those that don't...will be missing out on nothing in regards to the game.

Not "the same" at all.
