So after I apply some walkup and homerun sound files to certain players and there is an updated roster that I download all the players keep their soundfiles I gave them?

I believe so, but dont quote me 100% on that, im sure it what Ramone confirmed.

I know this is a Q&A about the demo but I don't wanna open a new thread for my question.

I've read that a classic stadium dlc will be released again this year on March 8th. My question: will european gamers be able to use that dlc on our european accounts or will we still have to use our us-accounts? tbh, that was an **** fail last year because it made the dlc useless for european gamers.

Another question: do we already know which stadiums it will contain?

No new classic stadiums this year but you can still use the 10 from last year. And I don't see the problem with using a US account to play them. I'm from Europe and had no problems whatsoever.

I like to play with the throwing meter set to off.

If I play with pure analog fielding with the meter off, does it still take into account the direction I push the stick towards the bag (the pie factor)?

It only says "Throwing strength will not be determined by how long you hold the throw button and is based on fielder skill". Doesn't mention anything about throwing accuracy.

No, with the meter off, you only pick the target. Accuracy is a function of the fielder's attributes, throw type, and throw distance with the settings you describe.

That may be the case for you, not for me. If every game does that in the future I'll need at least 5 accounts for my games. Just ridiculous, make a normal dlc that u can use on any of your accounts like every other game out there does as well.

btw: here's the LINK where I read about that new classic stadium dlc. If it's no new dlc maybe it's exactly the same dlc we got last year?

With SCEA players, I think the audio stuff is now tied into the player and not the roster(I think this is another plus that is a result of the Player Vault...)

I am new to the show on PS3. In the demo, the sound of the bat is very weak. There is little to no difference in the sound the bat makes in relation to how the ball was struck. When I hit a homer I can't tell at all if it has a change because of the bat. You just kind of watch the ball float over the wall.

Is this typical of this series? Or is this just because of the early build?

For MLB players yes, it will save. For created players, you need to re-apply them.

No, with the meter off, you only pick the target. Accuracy is a function of the fielder's attributes, throw type, and throw distance with the settings you describe.

Thank you for the response. Wasn't quite sure since we've never had the accuracy tied to the user before like it is now.

I'm new to The Show, as I just got a PS3, and am used to analog swinging and fielding and such. However, I have a question about the batting. Does the left analog stick have anything to do with swinging? Do I need to line up the left analog stick with where I think the ball will land? Or is it just the right stick? Thanks.

move RIGHT stick left/right where you think it will end up in the zone, game adjusts the height of the swing for you
