Changed it back to zone hitting after giving analog a go... but it says circle is contact swing now... so it swings instead of bunts. And X is also still swing. How the heck do I bunt?

triangle, but you have to change the bunting option in the gameplay options.

Yep. without changing it you use UP on RS

I'm not sure where to post this question, it wasn't in the facts thread and isn't available in the demo...
Are the "sounds of the show" tied to rosters this year? I know there was a poll made that showed overwhelmingly the want to have them not connected but I can't seem to find the answer. I apologize for asking here if it was the wrong place.

Classic button fielding question ?

When pre-loading your throws from the outfield is there a certain time or distance from the ball you have to be before you hit the button to get the smooth branching running throw animation ??

I'm not sure if I'm doing it too early or to late but everytime I charge a ball and throw my outfielder goes into this awkward slam on the brakes animation and throws flat footed which never allows me to make an accurate or strong throw

Yes... I have never used the HGH button and have hit plenty of homeruns just using X

Yeah Ive hit a couple HRs using X...the pitch was always perfect though. Right down the middle and I timed it perfectly, or read the curveball perfectly.

Question for anyone that knows.

I use timing only hitting and I'm curious to know if there is a difference between the regular swing using X and the contact swing using O? They both appear the same to me, but maybe I'm wrong on this. Thanks.

You have more plate coverage with a contact swing.

Just mashed a HR right down the line (with the no-doubter tell screen) on a Contact swing - you'd better believe it can be done.

Posey was the one who did it.

Nice. I just hit a 2 run homer with Posey down the left field line and got the sweet screen with the bat flip. But I was using pure analog. I got a screen shot of the bat flip. it looks awesome!
