What part exactly are you having issues with? Importing to the PS3, importing into SotS, or assigning sounds?

<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Yes def need to have more animations for the pitcher getting out of the way. Something like if the ball comes off the bat at 98+mph he can't react fast enough and gets hit bit slower than that he can move. I have saved funny videos of the pitcher getting nailed in the face as well as the family jewels and just tossing the guy out. However last year I saw King Felix get knocked out of the game from one and this year Matt Garza is out 1-2 months from taking one off the chest. But in the grand scheme of things it's really only like 5% of the time.

This was posted in the thread in bold last week.
Should be a few pages back by now...

I missed it sorry. I just want some kind of realism. If a pitcher gets hit in the arm or face or leg, he should go down or at least stumble or something. I have seen my 2nd baseman get injured for no apparent reason in 10 yet a pitcher gets hit with a ball in the arm or leg or wherever and acts like it's no big deal.

I am fairly new to this site..Probably a stupid question but please bare with me. Is there anyway to upload a created a player from a previous Show game and get him into 11 so you don't have to create the player every year and be a rookie? I doubt there is a way but would be great.

I downloaded a file from the Sounds of the show thread and each track has three 30 second clips. I'm having problems getting the times right for the songs. So I can set them up for each batter.

IE Josh Hamilton has 3 song files on one track. Can't figure how to chop them up so I can assign them

Not sure if I ever explained this correctly.

Random question - Anyone know which batting stance is Ken Griffey Jr's? Also, is there a Ricky Henderson stance?

You need to go into Music Editor and drop the 'marks' where you want the tracks to start

Is it possible to select a different fielder than what the cpu chooses? I'm having issues on fly balls where I expect one outfielder to be controlled, but the computer puts me in control of someone else.

                  Press L2 to switch.

Ok, so you go into that track and press (right) on the d-pad to activate the marker function. Press X to start playing from the beginning, then press [ ] to place your marker. You have 3 markers (red, green, and blue) - use the x-pad (up, down) to select which one you want to work with. Once you place a marker that location becomes the start/stop point when you press X. You can also use L2/R2 to fast forward or remind the current marker... if you do it right, after you back out you will see time markers (something like 01:43.35) when you add it to a player, stadium, etc.

Hope this helps, assuming I understand your dilemma correctly.

New Copyright issues? Does anyone know why we cant just save a franchise to a usb anymore? It keeps telling me to sign up for plastation plus in order to move my franchise from one ps3 to another. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The franchise save file is locked to try and prohibit people from sharing purchased DLC. Its also locked to prevent trophy boosting.

Alright so I'm playing Twins(me) @ Tigers. The Tigers have a runner on 1st. I attempt a pickoff at first base and the throw goes into the first row of seats. So I'm like alright he advances to second. BTW I never checked the diagram showing where runners are on base because I just expected that the runner would be on second. Sure enough on the next pitch I throw the hitter hits a fly ball to Right. Next thing I know Vasgersian is saying that Jackson tags up and crosses the plate to score the Tigers first run of the day. So I think to myself, that in no way is correct baseball rules. Jackson should have never been on 3rd base after I threw the ball in the stands. It's a one base error. I am correct on this right? I know the game of baseball pretty damn well, but if the runner gets two bases on an attempted pickoff throw that goes into the stands that's news to me.

I remember this happening last year as well. Sometimes the runner would be on second(which I'm pretty sure is the correct rule) and other times he would be on third. I will definitely post this in the bugs section if I am correct on this. Otherwise if someone could please explain why he would get third base that would be great.

This cost me a 2 hit shutout.

Wow well I guess I learned something new today. I guess I haven't seen many pitchers throw the ball directly into the stands in a real life game so that's why I didn't know that.

Well thanks for the help as that puts me at ease with this situation. I've wanted to know the answer to this since The Show 10 and now I've got it. Thanks again
