Does a high Discipline score help if you sim games? I think it used to, but I wanted to know if it still did.

Question about pitching injuries.

I know you are supposed to get as many warm up pitches as you need when a pitcher gets injured.

In MLB '11, the guy comes in with his bar all the way "COLD" and you are given the standard 8 warm up pitches...he doesn't get warm by then.

Does anyone know if the game ignores this or is this a problem?

I haven't really noticed it effecting the guy that comes in too badly...just wondering.

**Question about player progression in 'Season' mode.**

I have to play a full season yet in any The Show installments. Is there a way to legitimately develop a player over the year? And from year to year?

I've simmed a few seasons for experimental purposes but couldn't see any improvements in guys' ratings/abilities. I really want to develop Brad Davis (catcher) in my FLA season to continue the home-grown theme.

It does from year to year.
Training.
How to train? That I don't know. I'm hoping they rip it out and redo for '12.
I auto train right now and let it go where it may.

Is it possible to change the background stadium in the franchise menus? I'm the Tigers so it's Comerica Park but I want to switch it to a different field.

I believe it's your favorite team.
SETTINGS....USER SETTINGS....SET FAVORITE TEAM..or something like that.

Yeah, just go into the settings and change your favorite team.

Thanks, but I've done that and it won't change the background in my franchise. It says my favorite team is the Mets but it still shows Comerica.

Weird. Still can't change it. I remember early on I switched it to Detroit, but for whatever reason it won't change. I switched all the profiles. Oh well. It just feels stale, I wanted a change of scenery to freshen up the menu a bit.

Not profiles...

Go to SETTINGS.....USER SETTINGS....SET FAVORITE TEAM.
It will change to the background of the team selected.
You'll see it happen right there in the background when you change it after a few seconds...

Knight, I think in franchise, it will be whatever team you are currently working with. So in my 30 team franchise, when I'm on the Cubs Organization, it's Wrigley Field. but when I rotate over to another team to adjust their lineups/handle injury, it will change to that teams.

I think that set favorite only applies to waht team will defaultly be selected when a team select option comes up. And the main menu when the game starts up.

I have a question about importing and exporting players and have looked all through this thread and cant answer my question. Is it possible to export a newly updated SCEA player that I downloaded online and import them into the OSFM roster that I have been using for a franchise for the last two months. Because I have tried to do this and I export the player and then import them into the roster that I am using for my chise but when I load the chise the roster is the same. The player doesn't have the new ratings he still has the same as the original roster I started the chise with. I have never tried importing and exporting players before so I might be doing something wrong or maybe its not possible. I figured if anyone would know it would be all the the knowledgeable people on this site. Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.
