OK, I know I mentioned this in another post but this is just...wow.

I just hit the end of my advancement goal period. I got 4 out of 4 goals all of which were accomplished a few days before the deadline. As I write this, I currently lead the Eastern League in Avg, Hits, 2Bs, HRs, RBIs, Slugging, and OPS. I'm also 3rd in runs scored. My fielding %, while not stellar, is still .972 yet I just received this message from my manager.

"Your stats have held you back because on paper, your rating is good enough to make the next move. At this point, I think you need to stay right where you are until you can improve your numbers."

To reiterate...I currently lead the Eastern league in Average, Hits, 2Bs, HRs, RBIs, Slugging, and OPS.

Am I missing the meaning of "Your advancement through the organization will now depend on your stats versus the players around you"? BTW, the AAA third baseman is hitting a whopping .224. I hate to whine but I seriously don't see any improvement in the advancement system from any previous year of RTTS.

I know what you mean, I'm hitting over .350, 4 HR, 28 RBIs and they say my stats are too poor to advance...It's laughable, but oh well. I'll make it to the show eventually.

Just doing a temperature check on the mode. I don't see a lot of issues being brought up. (Crosses fingers hopes this is the rule and not the exception)


Anyway do you guys notice anything wonky or something that doesn't work the way intend? I see there aren't a lot of bugs being found (Crosses fingers again.)

The only issue I have had with the mode is what determines the points in specific at bats

like why is a ground ball base hit considered a weak hit worth 4-6 pts?
Or why is a 2 pitch double play a good at bat worth 11 pts?
Or why a flyout is sometimes a good at bat?

Otherwise it has been going great. Interface is easy to see what I want to, except you cant hit triangle to go to locker room now, you got to hit the menu option. I do wish there was an option to have the games sim, but still get an equal amounts of points as if you played the game. I am finding myself entering games and then ending them before my 1st at bat and simming to the end. When you have a SP, SS, CF, and 1B you dont want to play every game/at bat but you want your player(s) to develop but I dont have that much time.

I am a first basemen drafted to the Braves. How long does it usually take to get off the bench and into the starting line up? In the two games ive played in I have 2 homers and 5 rbi

Usually if you complete your first goals you get in. Sometimes sooner though.

It took me 2-4 weeks to get starts in games(LF who was playing CF) and a little over a month to be a regular starter. I did have a injury to another player help me along though.

I'm a 2B who got drafted by the pirates. RTTS is much improved and really enjoying it so far.

I am absolutely addicted to RTTS right now. I love the performance evaluator just like most other people on this. Also love the new training drills. I started as a CF playing for the Blue Jays and am currently working my way through AA. Can't wait to make it to the Show!!!

I think in rtts, if your a pitcher you shoulnt have to get older to be able to gain another pitch in your repitoir(sp?). Heck me personally, im 17 and have 3 pitches that i throw, if im in the majors they can have any number of pitches they throw, we shouldnt have to be limited just cuz were newer.

I'm a shortstop who got drafted to the A's stuck in double AA says I'm the second best shortstop in the organization but hitting 264 so think maybe the stats thing is workin startin to hit the ball better so maybe I'll get called up to triple A soon

no haah idk what it is but im just killing it in AA, the homers or RBIs might not show it but my average does .399, and im not starting, im in June!

They said they wanted to move me up but no spot available yet
