Whats the bug?
Black bars show up every time I enter an online game. For offline, everything is fine as the game recognizes my custom audio/visual settings.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in?
Online

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it
I use custom user settings and to eliminate the black bars, I max out my vertical and horizontal positions. HOWEVER, once I go into an ONLINE game, the black bars return!

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every online game

I just got a triple on a bunt this has got to be a bug the third baseman over ran a dexter fowler bunt and then just stood there until Fowler was well past second then the 3rd baseman ran to 3rd well arriving well after fowler got there and then the pitcher threw him the ball well late.

Scoring logic-
Groundball eats up Pujols, ball goes into RF (scored a 2B), rightfielder makes a bad throw to 2B and it sails into LF throwing error recorded, runner comes all the way around to score on play, pitcher gets credited with an EARNED RUN.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)
I encountered it in Franchise, but I'm sure the scoring logic is across the board

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
I was pitching, playing CPU, error at 1B I had no controll of but I made the bad throw from RF (red circle).

Whats the bug?

Stuttering. The game stutters (or lags) when the catcher throws the ball back to the pitcher after the pitch. Happens most of the time. The game also stutters randomly during gameplay.

Almost always when the catcher throws the ball back to the pitcher. Shows up in other areas as well during gameplay when the ball is in motion.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Almost every time catcher returns ball to pitcher. Other times are random but common enough to take notice.

Whats the bug? Ball glitched through the back wall on a line drive. Play continued like ball was in play. All players on base scored.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Swisher was at bat. Ripped a line drive down the right field line in Rangers Ballpark. It was a stroke of luck in occurring.

How often can the bug be reproduced? I guess not too frequently

Do you have video or pictures? I figured this was the best view in order to capture everything that was going on the field at once. You'll catch a small glimpse of the ball at the two second mark.

What's the Bug?

In Spring Training when a relief pitcher comes in it shows his stats for spring, ERA, Games, etc. however the heading shows is labeled as 2010 instead of 2011.

Not so much a 'bug' but an observation - in cpu v cpu games we are seeing a lot of wild pitches being caused by the catcher kicking a ball that he blocked in the dirt. Sometimes the ball will go far enough away that allows the runners to advance. It really has three things that need to be fixed -- the fact that catchers are kicking balls while getting up from their blocking animation, the force with which the balls are being kicked (they're going too far), and the willingness of base runners to advance on balls that are still in front of the catcher.

We appreciate that this is part and parcel of baseball but it is happening too often. Can this be toned down in the patch please?

The ball was fouled out of play. The AI catcher approached the foul ball toward the back stop and caught a ball that should have dropped out of play.

Unable to recreate.

What's the bug?
The ball rolled through the wall into the crowd on a passed ball and I was unable to retrieve the passed ball, resulting in a scored run for the CPU. It was @ Coors field and I was using St. Louis.

It was just a normal passed ball, not sure, but probably could recreate it.

Maybe also try clearing out any old game data from your PS3. Clean the lense on the BLue Ray player.

While in the stretch the pitcher will use a different pitching motion than his normal one once, then go back to his normal one.

I cant recreate it since its only happened 3 times and is random.

I experienced this again in RTTS today. But some more info. This happened in MLB 10 as well many times as both a batter and a pitcher.

The pitcher's motion will be sped up considerably for one pitch, the pitching meter speeds along with it if your pitching. And the next pitch is always the same deliver no matter who is pitching. This occurs in the stretch only as far as I can tell. I cant tell exactly what the delivery is, but it looks to be a generic one and its always the same, and the same as last years bug too.

Runner on 1st, my player at bat; Given the signal from the coach, I swing on a hit-n-run, and foul it off. The animation scene shows the runner from 1st running into second base pull up and go to return to 1st base because of the foul ball, but the runner is my RTTS player who is up at the time.
Clearly impossible.

Also, In regards to the coach giving me the signal--
It had the 3 signs listed to look for, yet he didn't do ANY of them 3 times like it said to look for. I had to watch him give the signs 5 or 6 times, because he didn't. I only guess I picked the correct one because the options were belt, leg, or helmet, and he didn't do anything with his belt or leg. He tapped his helmet, but only twice. I assume something is wrong because the runner still took off for the hit-n-run.

First off, it should be noted that this is an auto fantasy draft season, thus players are not on the teams or in the lineups you would normally expect. It should also be noted that BOTH of my shortstops have minor injuries (yes, 3 games in), but can still play.

I started the 4th game of my season. I selected Zach Duke, the 4th starter in my rotation to be the starting pitcher, and let the AI auto-fix on three Game-Time Decisions (one of which involved one of the aforementioned shortstops). When the game loaded, a bench position player named Eugenio Velez was on the mound.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I tried selecting the exact same choices twice in pre-game, and got the same results. However, on the 3rd try when I skipped the GTD's, the correct pitcher (Duke) was on the mound for the start. That would seem to indicate the problem lies with the GTD autofix logic, though I can't be sure of that, of course.

UPDATE: I've isolated the bug down to the shortstop issue. I skipped that GTD and let the autofix do its thing on the other two. Duke was on the mound when the game started. That's the cause, I'm sure of it now - Having two banged-up players at the needed position borked the GTD logic. For the record, there are three players on my team with either a primary or secondary SS position - Edgar Renteria and Omar Vizquel (both minorly injured), and..... Eugenio Velez.

Final Note: Because of the rather unusual circumstances surrounding this bug (not the least of which is the fantasy draft itself), I have saved a seperate copy of the season file and will be glad to send it to the devs or (more likely, since the mode saves are copy-locked) at least provide any information from it that might be helpful.
