Whats the bug?

I played two franchise games tonight. I'm the Astros. The last one in the series with Philly and the first in the series with Cincy.

In Philly: 1:35 start, Overcast (Philly in Alternate home uni, Astros alt, away)

In Cincy: 7:00 Start. Clear skies (Cincy Home uni, Astros alt, away)

In both games the jersey would never get dirty. The pants were dirty in both games, but the jerseys never were. It was bizarre. Not a huge deal, just thought I would mention it.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

It happened in back to back games, so I would say yes on the recreation.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Don't know. I have only noticed it twice. But wasn't really paying attention before.

Whats the bug? player in RTTS was ejected and stayed in game

Can not move through menus trying to adjust strategy during manager mode. Controller doesnt respond in some sub menus after moving to sub menus.

After the end of my half of the inning after having pinch hit for my pitcher I was trying to move some players around defensively and the defensive substitution menu would not respond to up or down movement to select a player. Getting frustrated, I could select to visit the mound, just trying to trouble shoot, to see if that would somehow reset the menus or something. When I got to the menu for the mound visit the same thing happened and the controller would not move through the menu. Had to quit the game to the dashboard because I couldnt exit the game in any other way.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I have reproduced the bug multiple times.

Do you have video or pictures?

No, but I could come up with some if need be.

I am unable to switch teams mid-game in rivalry mode. The "team-select" option is there but you cannot access it to actually switch the teams

Every tiime I try to switch teams in rivalry mode

How often can the bug be reproduced? Every single time I played with the patched game. If I don't install the patch I have no problems.

Do you have video or pictures? I picture of a black square for five minutes, with the stuttering noise at the beginning, don't really need pictures for that.

Guess I'm just gonna have to play offline, without the patch for the near future.

You know what is funny about this glitch. I bought a 160GB PS3 slim this weekend and upgraded the HDD to 320GB 7200 RPM drive and i no longer get the stuttering. Not sure if the speed of the HDD helped or if re-installing the Game Data on the new PS3 did the trick but it is smooth right now.

I've had a similar experience. A few days ago I upgraded the old 80 GB hard drive in my "classic" PS3 to a 500 GB drive, and I no longer experience the stuttering. However, my new drive is the same speed as the old one (5400 RPM), so speed can't be the reason for the difference.

did anyone get the Challenger-trophy in CoW? I easily finished in the top 33% (even top 10%) and haven't gotten the trophy yet. Trophy bug?

Pitch history colours are still hard to distinguish. It was perfectly clear in previous installments of the game untill '10 came around.

Everytime you check the pitch history with L2.

Padres P Clayton Richard's nods head yes, i want that pitch, then shakes head no, I don't want that pitch, then delivers.

Have to be playing AGAINST the padres. Does not happen when you pitch with Richardson.

Base Runners are getting two bases instead of 1 on overthrown balls (pick off attempts/standard throws)

Exhibition: Buddy of mine was throwing to third from the outfield after catching a flyball for the second out. Hit the cut off, and the cut off man threw the ball over third basemans head. I had runners on first and second. Runner on 2nd scored on the over throw, runner on first went to third, and the batter went to second. neither player was on the move, or half way between one base or the other. They should have only been allowed to advance one base.

Online:

Went to pick off a runner at first base. Runner did not attempt to steal and went back to the bag. Ball went out of play. Runner should only be allowed one base, but was on third when the game resumed.

As many times as you can overthrow I assume

No idea, but I didn't get credited for "Have a CoW Man" (compete in CoW in back-to-back weeks).

Edit: Never mind, it came up after booting in a bit later.

Swing influence to hit groundball makes batter do stride animation. This gives away strategy (especially hit and runs online) plus is annoying.

Game freeze during another players injury.

RTTS with fast play.

When I hit X to move past the cut scene, the game freezes as it transitions with the white fade. It happens only some of the time.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Whenever there is an injury, it's a 50/50 shot.

i got that one too but the Challenger trophy doesn't come up. Has to be a bug.

Middle infielder flips ball WAY up into the air when turning a doubleplay.
