Well...
In real life, if the pitcher throws from the rubber, it's only one base. If he had stepped off, then it's two.
Russell, or someone that has paid closer attention than me, will have to answer if the game realizes that the pitcher is on or off the rubber.
I understand that it realizes when you are off, that's why people were saying it was a glitch--giving 2 bags instead of 1--when in fact that is correct.
However, I am unsure if people are saying it's a glitch that pitchers are throwing from the rubber and runners are getting 2 bags...it's a little confusing and I actually don't recall if the game recognizes the difference or not.

Guess pitch is disabled for one at bat after a pitching change or defensive substitution is made by the opponent.

So far this has only occurred in two player mode.

It is triggered by the opponent making the change. Once the change is made and the batter attempts to guess pitch, he calls time and steps out of the box instead.

Whats the bug?
when I bring in a new relief pitcher, before his first pitch. his pitch selector doesnt show up until I select a pitch with the x button and then step off the rubber. When he steps back on, the pitch choices show up. If I warm him up the pitch selector is there until the batter steps in for the first pitch of the at bat, when it simply doesnt show.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)
Franchise, exhibition, havent tried others yet

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Anytime I bring in a reliever on his first pitch

When I hit a fly ball down left field line, it was close to the pole but was foul - called foul initially but umps got together and "reviewed the call" and overturned it - however I knew it would be called a homer since my homerun music was playing.

The bug would be that the homerun music cue plays before the final umpire call is made.

Catcher's run towards throws when they are sent home if the ball is up the third base line (and even sometimes if it's accurate).

It happens fairly often. A catcher would never run towards a ball coming home unless they are trying to cut it off and throw someone out at another base if they know they don't have a play at the plate.

Go play a RTTS as an outfielder and you'll find out soon enough

The ticker at the top of the screen doesn't show up any cumulative player stats, like total HRs, total stolen bases or doubles, like in MLB 10: The Show.

Ben Francisco hit a hard line drive off the left field wall and outfielder clearly caught the ball off the bounce against the wall. Was called an out when it was a clear hit

In past versions of the game you used to have an inactive roster of a dozen or so players. It's not working this year. When teams have injuries they play with less than 25 guys.

American flag on the Jumbotron at Rogers Centre after a home win. I understand American patriotism, but pretty sure even though mny of the players are American, the US flag isn't shown after wins in Toronto

When you call for a Hit & Run, if the batter swings and misses and the runner winds up safe on the steal, the runner will automatically attempt to steal the next base on the very next pitch.

Happens everytime I use the Hit and Run, contact is not made at the plate, and the runner successfully steals 2nd or 3rd base.

Sometimes after giving up a single run or hit even if it is still a save situation.

Whats the bug? When you pinch hit for a pitcher, that pinch hitter is forced to pitch to at least one batter the next inning; if that pinch hitter is a pitcher.

I posted about this last year and its back. I will give you an example so you understand it better:

You have exhausted your bench and have nobody left to take an at bat, and your pitcher is up to bat. Your closer is warming up and you have scheduled him to come in next inning. All you have to do it bunt but your pitcher has a 0 bunt ability. So you pinch hit as a starting pitcher that is good at bunting. This pinch hitter is scheduled to start tomorrow. After you lay down the bunt, and after the inning, you prepare to have you closer come in and finish the game. But 3 mistakes happen during the middle of the inning:

1. It doesn't warn you that you have a position player on the mound; okay fair enough.

2. It doesn't ask you if you still want to bring in your closer. He is warm and you scheduled him to come in.

3. When you manually attempt to put in your closer, the game wont let you. Below is a photo of what the error message looks like.

Just because the pinch hitter is a pitcher, the game forces you to make him pitch to at least one batter. So he has to throw all his warm up pitches, and throw to 1 batter, completely messing up your entire rotation.

Pitchers are not fielding bunts properly.There are 2 main issues:

1) Bunts that are popped up to the pitcher usually end up with no fielding animation, and the ball drops for a hit or an error.

2) On good bunts that the pitcher fields, the pitcher does not rush the throw to the first baseman even if the throw is pre-loaded. They will pick up the ball, tap their glove, and throw it over to first in a casual fashion.

I've only noticed it in Online play and RTTS.

On a bunt to the pitcher in the air for issue 1, and a good bunt down the 3rd base line for issue 2.

This bug has a high reproduction rate.
