sorry is this was already addressed. i really didn't want to go through 28 pages to see if it was.

Whats the bug?
when i made a double switch, it brought the player that was a part of the switch in to pitch and the pitcher just disappeared. so instead of it being 8. Pitcher (switched from Carlos Ruiz)

Game asked me to take out opposing team's pitcher from my bullpen and forced a game restart.

At Turner Field, doubled in top-9 to bring up the pitcher. When I went into the bullpen to warm up my closer (b/c I was about to pinch hit for my pitcher), it told me "you must take out [the opposing team's pitcher.]" As a result, I was locked into the screen, because I obviously couldn't sub for the opposing team's pitcher or switch teams from that screen. Had to restart the game.

Also, strangely, it still let me steal third from that screen, while still in the bullpen. I was thrown out.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? In AA playoffs playing for the Hooks and the playoff game on 9/7/11 wouldn't register as having been "played". I played the game 3 times then finally had to sim that game to get passed it

Whats the bug?
1. When tagging up on a flyball, you can leave the base early, before the defender catches the ball, and you are never called out.

2. If you check your swing, and the catcher drops the ball, and its not in the strike zone, but your batters swings enough to be called a strike, it will never be called a strike. About once a game, I will check swing, and its clearly a strike, my bat is pointing at the pitcher, but since the catcher dropped the ball, its called a ball.

3. On a 3-2 count with 2 outs and a runner on first, if you start the runner, and foul the ball off, the catcher pops up in attempt to throw out the runner. There is no need for this. If the catcher catches the ball, its either an inning ending strikeout or a walk. Catcher doesn't do this on a pitched ball or pitched strike; only on a foul ball. Unsure if he does it on a ball in play.

Playing franchise with the Rockies and Carlos Gonzalez plays his first at bat and then sometime after his 1st at bat he gets subbed out automatically without me ever doing anything or being notified of anything. Happened 3 games in a row last night.

I believe this was mentioned but I can't find it in the thread. After diving for several balls on defense, my RTTS player pants are dirty but their tops are clean.

Made diving stops and only half of the jersey was dirty. Doesn't happen all the time but it has happen several times.

Trying to bring in a defensive sub or pinch hit for a player...usually late in the game(could happen anytime)...the game will not let you switch players to be chosen to come in...the highlight is frozen in place as if there is no "pointer" on the screen. You cannot hit X to even bring in the one player you can highlight.... I've found that saving the game...and loading it up again will SOMETIMES "reset" this and allow you to do the switch.(this is why I'm reposting.....as I've stumbled on this)....For the double switch in the bullpen screen after pinch hitting for the pitcher...it always happens and no way to check if the save will reset that one.

It's not PS3 problem..exact same thing happened to me. Hope this gets patched right away as I lost my 1-0 shutout. Also CPU had a triple play in my game.

This would be the exact issue that brought me to this thread. Happened at the end of my 2nd season game.

I wrote a few sites ago that the Challenger trophy doesn't come up and that there may be a bug. FORGET about that, I got it today after I logged in and out of CoW a few times.

just entered a game from simaulcast and everyone on both times was number 42, i think. have screen shot if needed. when ball is hit to outfield and i watch runner screen at first he has no number on back(cincinnati reds). there should also be a setting for playing drunk. like if you swing at to many pitches out of the zone it should ask if your drunk and if you say yes it eases up on you if you say no it take you imediately to the practice mode. GREAT game fellas bought my ps3 only for this well worth....sounds sad until you play mlb the f'in show

This is normal. Done because of FPS reasons.
