Tried deleting the patch but it still does it. Pretty much the same for me.

Tried it post patch, while it stutters in the boot up video, I get no freeze or hitching in the game like others have said.

Still smooth as silk in the games and menus.

I am sure they will get to the bottom of this though. Since it appears to be sporadic and not a whole.

How in the heck is it possible that some experience it, myself included and some don't? It's printed from one master disc or however they do it, right?

I thought maybe it was the stadiums and to much going on on the screen, i.e. the batter moving, the pitcher moving, the crowd moving, but than I played at a minor league stadium and it happened there too. I'm starting to see alot more than just the ball back to the pitcher. Very annoying.

Yup, the game seems to freeze and stutter the most when batting/pitching. Mostly when the catcher throws back to the pitcher, and also right after hitting a pitch when batting. Sometimes when I hit a hard line drive the game will freeze for a split second right after I hit the ball. It sucks and kind of kills the adrenaline and excitement a little bit because it's just awkward when it happens.

But I've also seen it when the ball is being delivered by the A.I. pitcher which is very bad although thankfully this isn't as common.

I assume possibly that there could have been issues with how the game data installs or the patch installs that is sporadic and effects some people but not all.

This happens from time to time in the gaming world, I seen it happen on PCs, when both PCs are IDENTICAL spec.

I am sure they will try and get it ironed out.

Anyone having one second pauses during gameplay? I thought it was my brand new ps3 but killzone 3 has yet to have it happen. I swear I can here my ps3 making a faint beep everytime as well...

I began to notice this as well today. The weird thing is I didn't see it my first 2 games which happened to be day games but did notice it the last 2 games which were night games. Maybe that has something to do with it? I can't say for sure because its such a small sample size but thats just what i noticed

It doesn't matter if it's night or day. I agree with the slight beeping, I hear something but don't know if it's beeping or the disc being read every time it freezes. The more I play the more the freezing is occurring. I'm now tempted to shelf this game and play 10 until the beginning of the season to see if they fix this. I've been trying manager mode but there's a whole new issue with that.

I can't believe there are that many issues with this. Is there still no word from anybody official on this?

I haven't heard the beeping, maybe that means it is loading or installing files or something. I don't really know much about how that works.

But I think if we make a big enough stink about it Russell or the other guy from SCEA will take notice and acknowledge the issue. This is what I'm driving at because other wise its never going to get patched and fixed. Sometimes I wish I knew someone that worked there so I could have connections and explain what is going on to them.

Trust me. They are thorough on here. And I am sure they already know.

No response does not mean they are ignoring it, or did not notice. It is more than likely they are trying to replicate it, which can be complex, since I am not experiencing it, as well as others. But obviously there are people who are.

So once they have it narrowed down, and are able to replicate it, I am sure they will comment on it, and it will be taken care of.

Also, make sure you post it in the bugs and glitches thread, and be as descriptive is possible.

I am not experiencing any issues with the catcher throwing the ball back to the pitcher. Occasionally the catcher will double pump, or quickly double clutch, but thats all I see.
