Unrealistic, even as a Rangers fan. You'd have to give up Moreland, Profar, Perez & possibly Beltre/Scheppers for the Cards to even consider that move for Pujols.

It is a game. Pujols in real life being so far beyond any player in baseball, is not replicated in the game. They would have to extend the 99 overall cap to 130 or so in order to capture this. That being said, if Pujols is a 99 overall player in the final year of his contract, the trade makes sense from the CPU's standpoint.

        Not really.

He gave up a "meh" 1st baseman who hasn't proven anything. A good 2nd baseman. One A prospect and one B prospect. Srry, but that's hardly a compelling package for the best player in baseball IRL or in a game.

In my Mariners franchise I traded Hector Luna to the Royals for Wilson Betemit and Lorenzo Cain. I couldn't believe they actually accepted the deal, but then again that's why their the Royals. At least the game was realistic enough to make the Royals dumb when it comes to roster managment. And I had just traded for Luna from the Red Sox, think I traded Garrett Olson for him, because I had an opening on my bench. Especially since Figgins got injured.

Try Hong-Chih Kuo of the Dodgers, he has great stuff, and throws 95+.

Would take a lot to pry him away from LA. He is the only lefty in the bullpen that holds any water.

But he probably isn't the best player on the game. Since there is a cap, there are a handful of players that will be at the same level as Pujols. I don't know what potential Moreland comes in at, but the Cardinals are getting at least two A potential and younger players, two that play premier positions. Scratch Pujols' name from the trade and look at it like a computer does and you will see that they got better and younger as a team while reducing payroll. You and I know that Pujols is the best player in baseball, but the CPU doesn't. To it, there are a dozen or so players out there just as good, with two new players that have the potential to be so. Until they [developers] put in place a system that recognizes certain types of players, this kind of a trade will always make sense to the CPU.

Guys any other suggestions for a Late-inning Lefty Pitcher it's what the Phils need in real life so I'm trying to keep it realistic. I was thinking about Arthur Rhodes, but he'll take a better prospect to get, any suggestions/ would Arthur Rhodes be a good decision?

Good luck getting Jhonny Venters. I tried to get him and put Felix Hernandez on the board and their trade meter didn't move an inch. I wouldn't have even thought of actually doing it for obvious reasons, but damn they must be pretty high on him,

Actually not really. I traded Miguel Olivo for him straight up, after I traded for Carlos Santana. I guess they have a need at catcher.

I'm looking for a switch handed utility player that can play multiple positions for my bench. Anyone have any good suggestions? I'm looking for someone who at least has average, contact, power and speed.

Brian Kelly will have ND back this year.

Arizona State will bounce back this year too.

The Cubs will end the streak next year
