You woud probably have to trade Reyes, Ike, and maybe a prospect. Then you would have to get someone like Theriot to play SS or you can play Tejada or Turner their.

Does anyone know how to trade for Ian kinsler while using the white sox? I know I have beckham but I would move him to SS and have kinsler play 2b

Do you have Alexei? If so, I think it'd take him + a few prospects.

I don't have the Show, so I'm not sure how the trading works in that game. I'm going by my 2K11 trade experience and just how I think it would happen in real life.

I'm thinking about trading Billingsley b/c i don't want to pay him what he wants this offseason. I have 2 options which i really like.

CLE has 100% interest in trading me Asdrubal Cabrera for Billingsley
TEX would accept Michael Young for Billingsley.

I love Young but Cabrera is bound to be around longer. Which is more fair?

That's a tough one. If your in the beginning of the season, Texas wasn't really in love with Michael Young. Only recently has he been on-fire and possibly the MVP of that team. On top of that, Texas needs pitching and Cleveland needs offense, so to trade away their offensive all-star just wouldn't seem likely. Either way, it's a tough call, but I would get Young. Normally, I would say Cabrera but this year has been so good for him that without him at short, the Indians would be nowhere.

I'll go with Young, TEX has so much offense even w/o him. Can't bring myself to take Asdrubal away from CLE. thx for the input

I'm playing as the sox and I'm wanting to add a front line starter to the team. I have intrest in Josh Johnson and Kershaw of the dodgers. Both trades involve moving ramirez, a B potential CF and a B potential catcher. I like pitching with both too

Neither could ever happen in real life, but go with Josh Johnson if you really have too. The Marlins are notoriously cheap so I suppose you could use that excuse. Either way though, both are unfair and would never actually happen.

How do you figure? You could move Alexi to 2b or 3b and have the side of the infield that the marlins have ever had. What do you think would make it fair maybe Stewart or somone such as de aza?

In the first year of my fantasy draft team I just traded Ichiro for Brandon Phillips. I felt like it was a great deal for me as I needed some infield help up the middle and Brandon Phillips is a good young player. I couldn't be happier with the deal as I've got another power threat in my lineup to go along with A-rod and Garrett Jones.

You have to realize that Johnson is the ace of the Marlins and a young one at that. Those don't come along often and while Alexi is good, he's not great. I would say a real good prospect, someone with a A ranking, a major league starter and a B or another A prospect. What makes it worse is that Marlines are moving to a new stadium and if they want to get a crowd in that place, they can't go trading away their best players. It would be like the Rays trading David Price, probably not gonna happen. Sanchez, Nolasco and those are fair game though. Don't the Sox have Peavy, Danks and Buehrle? That should be good enough no?

Guys, please help. I need a LH reliever for my Pirates franchise. I've tried everything to get a good LHP, the bar was even full for a trade to get Jeremy Affeldt (sp?). Nobody wants to trade with me and if I want to be successful in the playoffs (lol yeah I know, I play about a 1/3rd of the games) and I can't do that with Tony Watson, Beimel, and Danny Moskos as LH relivers.

Ok First off. These trades are not fair.

                            1. STL - Shelby Miller-A
                            Carlos Martinez-A
                            Oscar Taveras-A
                            FOR
                            NYM - Jose Reyes
                            David Wright
Mike Pelfrey or Jon Niese or Matt Harvey-A

                            2. STL - Shelby Miller-A
                            Carlos Martinez-A
                            Oscar Taveras-A
                            FOR
                            FLA - Hanley Ramirez
                            Chris Coghlan
Ricky Nolasco or Anibal Sanchez or Chad James-A
                            or Jose Fernandez-A

Just unsure what would help the team now and for the long run. It's my 1st season so I would have to resign Jose Reyes after the season. But David is good for 2 years and Hanley is good for 4 years and Chris i would have to resign and he can play any were. I belive my pitching is good But I want to be able to hang with BOS,TEX,and NYY.

So thank you to who can help me out!!!

I'm in need of some help/suggestions for a trade in my franchise. I'm the Phillies. I could really use a reliable bullpen arm (another setup guy - maybe even a closer - just about to hit the all-star break, and Lidge already has 7 blown saves, and really should have a couple more on top of that probably). Also, just like in real life, I could use one more good bat in the middle of the lineup. Ibanez has done fairly well (46 RBI) - but he's very hot and cold. Howard has been a beast, Utley is having a good season, but can be very hot and cold as well. Being a Phillies fan in real life, I really like what Hunter Pence has done - any thoughts about trying to acquire him in my 'chise? Or any other thoughts about trade possibilities?

Do what the Phillies actually did. If you can't, adjust ratings to make it happen. It's not cheating if it actually happened in real life. As far as closer goes. Brandon League is good.
