In my Rangers franchise the Red Sox traded Josh Beckett to the Mets for RP Manny Acosta and SS Wilmer Flores (A pot)

I traded a few minor leaguers for RP Grant Balfour, traded Ichiro in 2011 season for CF Span, LF Kubel (did not resign in 2011 offseason), SP Duensing, traded Felix to STL for CF (moved to left) Rasmus, C Steven Hill, SP McLellan...
I wanted to package Cust since he is aging but can still supply pop (he has a good amt. of homers in this game) and maybe another few players for either a solid bottom-rotation pitcher or infielder...

Nice. I can't part with Felix. I haven't tried Cust though.

I'm keeping felix nice 1-2 punch with pineda vargas stock has risen he has pitched well in 2011- early 2012. My offence sucks only change was starting ackley at 2B(good start to '12) and vladdy at DH , some gays I may explode for 8-10 runs other games I only get 1-2 runs my bullpen is lights out. My 3-4-5 starters have piched well and felix,pineda struggled on there wst start ,looking to add a good starting pitcher to be my #2 like a santana-carperter type.. And good hitting catcher maybe make a blockbuster trade for filder if they out of playoff contention my minor leaugers are playing better than expected too

I'm keeping felix nice 1-2 punch with pineda vargas stock has risen he has pitched well in 2011- early 2012. I like hitting with Carlos Santana. It also helps that hes a switch hitter.

But I think I'm going to restart but sim most of the first season, I don't like some of the trades I made.

45-48 after allstar game, 3.5 back of Detroit with a 3 game set in Detroit next. My offense needed a spark, in particular at the top of the lineup. Juan Pierres struggles continue, batting .198, 5hrs, 16 rbi, 27 steals. I decided to make a move:

Crisp is the switch hitting leadoff table setter ive been seeking. Now Pierre can be my 4th outfielder/pinch runner. Going forward, I like Rios, Crisp, Quentin, & Pierre in the outfield.

I wanted to add a pitcher a too, ideally, I wanted Hunter Pence & Wandy Rodriguez from Houston. Best they would take was John Danks & Chris Sale for just Rodriguez. NOT happening. Sale is a monster.

Thoughts on the deal I did make or an under the radar starter I could add for my playoff run?

Another Trade Today:
1B Lars Anderson (A Pot) from Red Sox for RF Matt Diaz

This was a huge steal for me, Matt Diaz was riding the pine, and declining and so I got an offer from the Red Sox that I thought was in my favor, of course they were probably thinking the same thing when they sent him off. Maybe I could move him to RF since I dont have much use for Garrett Anderson anymore, or I could put him in the lineup for Chris Carter who only hit .240 in the second year of the franchise.
