playing as the mariners Aardsma has been pitching lights out! by best player by far i just made it to july i only got 30 wins worst record in the AL and the white sox are interested in my closer so i haved work out a trade ( not yet accepted)

whitesox get:cp-D.Aardsma( ERA under 1 with a litle over 20 saves)

seatle gets-
ss-M.machado -Apot
reliver nunez also Apot

or should i also included more pieces? or just scrap the trade

id do both. felix for stras and harper and aardsma for machado especiallu if your planning on playing multiple seasons. relievers can be replaced but a stud ss with high potential is harder to find i think..


anybody think i should do andrus and jesus montero for belt jose iglesias and travis d'arnaud? i have machado already but im not sure who id rather have

How does trading King Felix to wsh for harper and strasburg sounds? Or as more pieces?

Have the worst record in the mlb. Wats a fair trade to get (prospects only ) for bedard

Im playing as the Mariners as well. I used the newest OSFM roster and was able to trade Denny Bautista for Harper straight up. However, I didn't save it because it was unfair. I am trying to get Strasburg as well, but its tough. I went out and got Brett Lawrie and Travis Snider from the Jays. Oh and I traded Ichiro, Aardsma, and a pot C starting pitcher to the Braves for Heyward and Kimbrel. I know thats never going to happen, but Heyward is the man and had to do it.

Any other trades you have done? I just started my franchise.

Naw no trades yet I'm building around Felix,pineda keeping ichiro(always wanted to play with him) and most of the top 10 prost. I have a trade in place to send Aardsma to. The white sox for 2 prosp. And gonna trade berdard ,league to a contender and that may be it for the trades. And just build lil by lil signing F.A( no big names ) building the team from the farm drafted a 3B with the second pick gonna make him into. Anthony rendon(real life college player ) gonna keep it as real life as posible

Yea I was thinking of offering Ichiro for Stanton and a prospect. I just need more power from somwhere and Ichiro is old.

For realism, guys like Stanton, Heyward, and especially Bryce Harper are essentially untradeable. Trading Bryce Harper would be like letting Lebron go in his rookie season. Talent that special and raw, with cost control ... they never get moved. Ever. Just can't do it guys!!

wow- The waiver wire came and there's a LOT of good players from varous teams...all seem to be in the last yr of their contract which makes sense. To name a few...beltran, juan pierre, brandon league, k rod, tejada, brandon phillips, carlos pena, etc. Also, the cubs & rays struck a big deal senda Alfonso Soriano to the Rays for an A pot. 21 yr old SP. I put a claim in for juan pierre(he'd be huge off the bench for me) and manny delcarmen...hoping to bring him back to his hometown of boston.

Since Jack Cust is doing relatively well in the game I was thinking of shipping him off and maybe packaging some other players with him? I'm willing to part with...

Alex Liddi had a good 2011 and tore up spring training pitching but I send him back to AAA cuz I still got a figgy at) what is figgy worth in the trade market? Won't need him as I also got Anthony Rendon in AA looking for a better bulpen arm but what is he worth?

I traded a few minor leaguers for RP Grant Balfour, traded Ichiro in 2011 season for CF Span, LF Kubel (did not resign in 2011 offseason), SP Duensing, traded Felix to STL for CF (moved to left) Rasmus, C Steven Hill, SP McLellan...
I wanted to package Cust since he is aging but can still supply pop (he has a good amt. of homers in this game) and maybe another few players for either a solid bottom-rotation pitcher or infielder...
