Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition

Guillen hasn't hit the ball in his first 8 games, called up Kalish and he is raking. Called up JJ R. just to release Jose and he is killing it, so i wanted an opinion on a trade not sure if it would work yet but just want some feedback.

    Kalish
    Reddick
    Lars

    Jose Bautista

I will move JJ to left so they don't have two RF of the future and plus they get a beast at 1B. Like or No?

Trying to keep it real and to get Jose away from the jays i think this package is about what the Sox might offer. Don't know but thanks for the feedback.

You'd never see a guy like Bautista traded without including some A prospect pitcher nowadays.

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition

I need some advice on a trade(s) I'm 61-17 on June 25th in my Tiger's franchise, with a 13.5 game lead on the Twins. I play on Hall of Fame hitting, and Legend pitching.

I have become a little concerned lately, after a 4 game stretch where I scored 7 runs TOTAL (I went 1-3). I have had stretches before where I didn't score much, yet my pitching bailed me out.

The problem is the bottom 3 in my lineup.
            Brennan Boesch (.270 8 HR 21 RBI)/Ryan Raburn (.219, 7 HR 26 RBI)
            Jhonny Peralta (.209 6 HR 28 RBI)
            Brandon Inge (.213 8 HR 21 RBI)

They all have struggled mightily with the bat.

The Mets are shopping SS Jose Reyes, 3B David Wright, and OF Carlos Beltran. Of those players, only Wright is having a decent year (.295 5 HR 28 RBI)

I have explored trade proposals by simming ahead then reloading. I have the prospects to land two of the three in a 2 for 3 trade. My problem is, which ones do I pick up. I have 3 A prospects, including Jacob Turner (yes, I'd be willing to part with him to get the bottom of my lineup shored up and win a World Series). The Mets will take the three prospects for Reyes and Wright, OR Reyes and Beltran.

I'm leaning towards Reyes and Beltran, because both are signed through just this season. Wright is signed through next season. Also, Inge is signed through next season as is Peralta. If I get Reyes, I'm most likely going to DFA Peralta. If I get Beltran with him, I can put Boesch on the bench, then start him next year. If I get Wright, then I'm stuck with both Wright AND Inge next season.

HELP LOL What do you guys think I should do?
Get Reyes and Beltran, Reyes and Wright, or just stand pat?

Boesch's stat line is actually pretty good, but I think you should try for Reyes and Wright because Beltran is on the decline as is Inge so you get younger. Then you can see if you can move Inge, Reburn, and Peralta to recoup some prospects somewhere.

Brian Kelly will have ND back this year.

Arizona State will bounce back this year too.

The Cubs will end the streak next year

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition

Alright, I'm really ticked off. I've worked about half-an-hour to get this trade to work, and it's as follows:

                      Indians Get:

                      High Rated Relief Prospect
Low Rated Catching Prospect (Really just a throw in)

                      Phillies Get:
                      SP Jeamer Gomez
                      RP Rafael Perez
                      RP Justin Germano

I NEED this three guys for my team to suceed. So I've worked and worked and finally got the Trade Bar to full and I accept the trade and....they don't accept. What's the point of getting the trade bar to the top and them not accepting it?

I'm confused. In every other MLB The Show I've played when the bar is at 100% the trade gets done. I've been shafted three times already on a major trade proposal for my team's success with the bar being 100%.

                      Help?

I agree, Boesch's stat line is good, but he started off strong (over .300 for much of the season) but has really tailed off. I could live with him though, if I can get Reyes and Wright.

Problem is, realisticly, what team would be willing to take a good field, no hit 3rd basemen with bad knees, or a no hit/no field shortstop? Then again, I'm planning on DFA'ing Peralta anyways....My main problem with getting Wright is that both he and Inge are signed through next season.

far as I know the bar is only accurate for instant trades.

I don't have a real answer for you though, as I"m not sure.

You're later in the year so I figure at least some team is in playoff push mode, for those teams these guys are worth about a D overall with B pot as a utility player

                                Help?
Because even the computer knows you're ripping them off only offering them a relief prospect.
