You could probably get it accepted. For some reason in my Mets franchise Ruben was a key part in a trade I did for Brandon Phillips (my favorite 2nd)

Obviously it depends on if they are out of contention or not, but here are some closers I could see being traded if thier team fell out of contention:

Heath Bell, San Diego. Not sure if they'd trade him in division though.

          Francisco Rodriguez, New York Mets.

          Francisco Cordero, Cincinnati.

Possibly Mike Gonzalez, Orioles. He's the lone lefty of these four.

Now there might be more than that, but those are the ones I can think of right now.

              First, grammatical errors a plenty!

2nd, just use Kuo. Kuo is a beast in this game, and the setup man in real life.

How about Johnny Venters from the Braves, hes a good young lefty that throws straight gas.

                    [QUOTE=cardsleadtheway;2042279611

Still playing 10, I got an offer in June of 2013 of some A potential CF 28 year old prospect with great power for Kouzmanoff, Devine, and Church. It looks like a pretty decent deal for me except that I have a CF 2nd year player who is only 22, has decent speed, fielding, contact and power. So do I pick up this prospect who will either supplant my current CF, or else be a backup outfielder for perhaps one more year until I can't afford him? I will probably pass on the deal, but I like getting offers that make me take some time to contemplate, as opposed to the usual ones that I turn down immediately.[/QUOTE]

What holes does your team have? You could make the trade, the turn around and trade they 28-yo prospect for more prospects or a veteran that fills a hole in your line up/rotation.

That is not a bad idea. I could possibly use a one year rental at 2nd base or perhaps a dominant starter for the rotation. I think Zobrist is in his final year and I could try to get Sheets back for a season. I will see who else is available. If I pull the trigger and get the prospect, I could flip him come July to a team that is out of the race. Thanks

New to OS here, Knights rosters are amazing, good work everyone. But I was wondering if anyone has had luck shopping ellsbury around? He barely hit .250 for me this year, just finished my first season and picked up lorenzo cain in the off season. Would love to make my bullpen a little stronger as I didnt resign papelbon and moved daniel bard to closer. anyone got any good ideas for RP?

I am a huge fan of chapman, hope his career turns out great, but the reds arent giving him up anytime soon, but im still trying. haha

I am in the Spring Training with the Royals. 1st time I played the Spring games, but it's needed to see what I have with this team and who I can play well with.

I am looking to ship out Wilson Betemit because he is out of options and I don't have room for him in my plans. I am looking for a SP preferably, but would go RP. Someone cheap, but decent.

Anyone have any ideas on what team could use a 3B that has a cheap pitcher that could contend for a roster spot on the lowly Royals?

                          Using OS rosters of course.

I don't made a ton of trades but, if I do I usually wait until around the trade deadline. With that said, if I were you I would probably hold off and see if another third-baseman around the league gets injured and see if you can find a deal with that team. Besides, other than the Royals who else could Betemit start for?

lol, he can't even start for the Royals. Aviles and Moustakas is much better than him. He is not going to make it as a back up either because he is too slow and bad defensively to be a utility guy. He is out of minor league options so waiting it out is not something I am awarded with and was thinking of getting "something" for him.

With my rotation and bull pen in shambles I was thinking of trying to get a guy that could compete for a spot. Not saying he would, but would be a better option that just releasing a guy which it seems I will just have to do.

Only really knowing the Brewers, As and White Sox as whole teams I was hoping someone that knew other teams could chime in with a possible guy or 2 I could go for.

I wanted some bullpen help so I made the following trade:

                                Phillies get:
                                RP David Robertson
                                SP Adam Warren
                                CF Abe Amonte

                                Yankees get:
                                CP Brad Lidge
                                RP Scott Mathieson
                                OF Domingo Santana

We'll see if it pays off...Ryan Madson has under a 1.00 ERA as my closer so I think I am fine there.
