    To the angels chisers:

What would it take from the Braves to get Mike Trout? I would probably be willing to trade anyone except heyward, uggla, and mccann.

Without Heyward, there's no way the Angels are trading Trout.

Ya, probably Heyward and a young 3rd baseman probably. 3rd base is a dark hole over there.

The Braves don't really have the pieces the Angels need to take Mike Trout. MAYBE Jason Heyward + Julio Teheran+ Kimbrel+SS Matt Lipka, but that's as unrealistic a trade as it gets. There may be only 5 guys in the MLB I would offer Trout to get.

Haha thats a bit much. Talent wise heyward for trout straight up would be enough. I was thinking teheran and another player or two. The angels dont need kimbrel as they have walden (who is going to be a STUD). I could part with Lipka for sure. I think I could get him in the show just because they dont have that "untouchable" status for a prospect built into the game. I most likely wont even send a trade request because of the logic flaw. To me the top pitching prospect for the top hitting prospect isnt unreasonable, but that would depend on if the angels saw centerfield or an ace pitcher as the bigger need.

Looking to move Fielder in my Brewers franchise for a SP and maybe another player or two, who are some realistic targets?

you are insane. How easily people forget that Heyward was touted as the best prospect since Griffey, and you think the Braves would need to trade him + #1 pitching prospect in baseball + 22yo closer + young SS to get one prospect who is not even the current top prospect?

The Angels would beg the Braves to trade Heyward for Trout straight up. In the game, I bet Tehran or Delgado straight up gets it done...A pot pitchers are very valuable in game.

Just had a bad trade get through-Tigers SS Jonny Peralta + filler to the Pirates for 2 of their A potential pitching prospects. I didn't think that trade should stick, so I went in manually and reversed the trade.

As they should be. Even the A potential guys can take awhile to develop on the game. Still playing 10, but in the fifth year of my franchise, there aren't very many pitchers that have developed dominate stuff yet. A few teams have more than one in their rotation, and those guys seem to have sky high ERA's. Batters, on the other hand, are all over the place. It is much easier to plug a prospect into a 9 man lineup that bats 3-4 times a game than a 5 man rotation and have to throw 75+ pitches a start.

Saw my first CPU trade in Franchise and WOW was it bad. Even assuming there was poor CPU trade logic....this one really made no sense on any level.

Trade was between San Diego and Washington.

                        Washington gives up:
SP Livan Hernandez (was pitching well at the time)
                        A "C level" CP
                        and
                        Bryce Harper

San Diego gives up an "A prospect" 3B - I believe his name was Brown.

I checked out Brown, I figured maybe it makes sense and it's basically A for A...still didn't see why it was 3 for 1 and included a major league starting pitcher, but whatever.....
but then I saw Brown is currently a "C" and 26 years old. Then to make matters even worse the Nationals already have Ryan Zimmerman at 3B - who is 26 years old and in year one of a three year deal.

So yup...the Nationals gave up a starting pitcher and one of the best prospects in the game, for a AAA guy at a position they don't need....Ugh!!!

That's because velocity and break don't progress in the game. if you want a pitcher to have dominant stuff, edit him that way. I noticed just about all of the 2011 draftees with A and B in velocity(very few) had either a D or F potential. Maybe that will change in time, but I don't expect to draft a pitcher with overpowering stuff.

Wanted everyone's opinion on a trade I am bout to make to the Mets. I am playing as the Pirates right now.

                            Pirates get
                            Carlos Beltran
                            Fernando Martinez -Pot B

                            Mets get
                            Jose Tabata Pot A
                            Starling Marte Pot B
                            Paul Maholm Pot C

What do you think of the trade? Originally I was planning on leaving out martinez and offering a lesser pitcher instead of maholm... reason I am giving up tabata is i drafted an A rated 3b and intend to make him into anthony rendon which will force alvarez to 1b and give me jones and mccutchen in the of for starters
