Yankees haven't made a move, I can't believe they think they'll win it all with old man Garcia and Colon.

It's over book either Texas or Boston for World Series...SMH

Let's not evaluate trades until a year or two down the road when the prospects get their feet wet

Oh no, its definatley broken, here's an example just now from my fantasy draft franchise

              Red Sox (me) send
RP Wes Whisler - Career minor leaguer, maybe MLB Middle Relief at best, 29yo A pot...

              Mariners send
              CF Franklin Gutteriez
              RF Corey Hart
              RF Magglio Ordonez

and they accepted haha... I think the Mariners had a few too many before they made this deal haha...

Now i'm platooning Hart and Dominic Brown in RF, Guttierez and Stubbs in LF (using Stubbs as a DH where possible) and Austin Jackson in CF... Had to send Dayan Viciedo and Jose Tabata down to AAA coz i had no room for them...

Trade logic definitly is a bit sketchy, I take a franchise and in two years have an unbelievable lineup. All the time! I think my lineup in 2012 for Dodgers was:
CF McCutchen, 2B Pedroia, SS Reyes, 3B Uribe, LF Kemp, 1B Fielder, RF Either
                  Ridiculous

Yeah after doing a couple teams and simming I was like "how can a team get better than this?" so I quit.

IMO, i feel nothing was worth trading for him at this point. Granted i know NOTHING about the guys they brought in, so maybe thats the reason i am against this trade.

Face it, they could have gotten more/even better prospects if they would have held him untill next years deadline. He could have shown that he got his stuff together and his output would have been more spectacular.

Pomeranz and White were their 2 best pitching prospects...maybe Colorado knows something we don't..it is awfully suspicious to deal a guy with his talent AND a very friendly multi-year contract

It is fishy but for the deal to be completed he will have to pass Cleveland's physical. Harden's deal got nixed because of medicals Red Sox saw. But Cleveland's going for the jugular and I love it. (cuz I'm a Clevelander)

As much as i despise the Yankees, i did some homework and i would have felt better if we got Montero.

Like the Denver Post said, the team feels with Ubaldos talent and contract, they could attract more teams to offer more high end prospects to fill holes. Ok so they got 2 "high end" pitchers, but what about 3rd base? There are already talks of the Rockies shopping Mark Ellis, so where is the future 2nd basemen?

The team has all but given up on Ian Stewart, yet he still wears a rockies jersey. They wanna get rid of Ryan Spilborghs, Dexter Fowler, Ty Wigginton, and Aaron Cook. Come on there have even been talkes of Houston Street getting attention and the Rocks considering moveing him, despite the closer problems of the past.

How many times can a team implode their roster and start from scratch?
