Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition
I'm in desperate need for a spark plug and some speed on the bases. I'm looking for an available player that can steal a lot of bases and potentially hit lead-off. A or B speed would be nice. I don't mind the position, but it would be really nice to fit the speed in LF. I'm running the Orioles organization (with a very poor record).
In the upcoming free agent class, who would be a great fit for those needs? Or is there a player who is believably available worth acquiring? I was thinking of going after Emilio Bonifacio, but I'm not sure how enamored the Marlins are or aren't with him.
I'm just wrapping up the 2011 season, headed into the offseason shortly.Comment

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition
Maybe Juan Pierre, of the Whitesox. You could probably get him for prospects. He won't be great for more than 2-3, maybe 4 years, but he'll bring speed to your team. Don't be fooled by low ratings, it's partly because of his power being at near 0.I'm in desperate need for a spark plug and some speed on the bases. Ryan Sweeney from the A's.....relatively young, cheap, decent(not great speed), can play all 3 outfield spots...would flourish if he had consistent at-batsI'm in desperate need for a spark plug and some speed on the bases. Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition
Some trades I made in my Dodger Franchise in the offseason:
Dodgers Get:
J. P. Arencibia
Jays Get:
Rubby De La Rosa
Zach Lee's progression made Rubby easy to trade, I needed a catcher.
Dodgers Get:
Carlos Zambrano
Mets Get:
Ted Lilly
B prospect LF
Needed to add depth to the rotation, Mets signed a pitcher in FA so they needed another lefty.
Dodgers Get:
Jonathan Sanchez
Giants Get:
James Loney
**** the Giants
In season trade because Dee Gordon was struggling
Dodgers Get:
J.J. Hardy
A's Get:
C level RF prospect.

Dexter Fowler, I have stroked over .300 with him for the last 2 franchise seasons.(playing 50 or more games a season) Not to mention he is insanely fast.I'm in desperate need for a spark plug and some speed on the bases.
