This is great! Last year in my Nats Chise I ahd some short outings. Rather than exhaust my bench in the 3-4th or 5th (depending on the deficit and other factors) I would rather use Livo (hit a HR last year in real life) or Marquis who is known as a decent hitter for a pitcher. Does the game prompt you now or can you simply make the switch? I only use this situation maybe a half-dozen times or so but am glad its fixed!

Re: 1.10 patch?
Good news. Are all players being renewed? You can't really tell till offseason 2 when the minor leaguers contracts start expiring.Comment

Re: 1.10 patch?
Turn training to auto. On manual it pushes problem back a year or two. Makes it longer to test.Comment

Re: 1.10 patch?
Can you also try a sim (if you have time) with single team control, budgets on, essentially, the way most people (and i) want to play the game
Thanks a lot for your efforts.Comment

Re: 1.10 patch?
Alot of times those guys mentioned previously were renewed prepatch
So we have to temper our enthusiasm. Year 2 wheels start coming off with training on
Year 3 with it to manual.Comment

Re: 1.10 patch?
FA list in Spring Training start of yr3 (2013):
I see a couple players (one is 25, other is 23) B rated RPs that were not signed. They were not incredibly high rated, about as good as your worst ML middle reliever you would keep in the majors. A couple teams in the offseason had pop ups that they were maxed out on Budget (Yanks were 1), so that may be where they came from.
Looking at the transactions from the offseason, all top FAs are being signed to realistic deals by the first week of Feb, and most much earlier than that. There aren't any MLB ready FAs lasting longer than this, and with a quick glance, I am not seeing any prospects changing teams in the offseason.
Now simming yr 3 (2013)Comment

Hey I hope I'm wrong and it is fixed in this patch. But we all know what will happen if someone claims it is fixed and later someone else sees it still there....

Re: 1.10 patch?
Almost no one was offered arb and there were a s**t ton of type A and B FA's even after Dec 2. Which means that they must have declined arb instead of just not being offered. Problem is, there were some serious players in the FA pool with under 2 years of service time, meaning they were never offered contracts by their controlling team. A load of them.
As far as I can tell, I saw no difference. Two maybes: one, maybe the patch only takes effect with newly started franchises (unlikely, but who knows) and two, maybe that offseason was already predetermined because the season was in progress before the patch. Just theorizing, but I saw no changes of note. I'll do more later.Click Here to see my NFL Head Coach farewell career (retiring from the game).Comment
