Whats the bug?
-- Catcher Mike Napoli somehow caught a foul pop-up behind home plate despite it being clearly out of play in the crowd a few rows back.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)
-- Exhibition, human vs. human.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
-- Magglio Ordonez hit a pop up. My friend was just messing around since it was way out of play and spamming L1 to leap-catch into the net. He ended up actually catching it.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
-- No idea. It's the first time I've seen it.

Whats the bug? Could not do a pinch runner top of the ninth from start menu. Then used quick menu and screen froze.

What game mode? Franchise


How did it happen? Use quick menu to pinch runner

How often? 1st time.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I started a season 2 different times. I was able to pinch hit in the early part of each game but in the ninth of one game and the tenth of another game I could not pinch hit for my pitcher. I can get to the screen to choose my pinch hitter but it won't let me cycle through the hitters or select one. I can back out of it and let my pitcher bat but thats not really what I want to do.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Its happened twice. Both times I started my season.

A throwing error is charged to an outfielder when it shouldn't.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

A runner on 3rd. A batter hit a single to RF. The runner on 3rd scored on the play. The normal relay throw from the RF was erratic and over the head of the 2nd baseman, but no runner advanced on the play. But a throwing error was charged to the RF, presumably for the runner scored.


How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not sure if this always happens, but I've seen this happening a couple times during the past several games.

When that happens it'll eventually work if you keep trying. I've had to go to the pinch hit screen around 10 times before, but eventually it works.

When I steal second base the runner automatically tries to steal third on the next pitch. I have not found a workaround yet for this glitch.

Just FYI....they know about this one...but in the meantime....don't use the quick key to steal. (steal all)
Instead hit X and go to the player and use the "STEAL 2nd"..or "STEAL 3rd" command from that screen and he won't take the base the next time around.

In the newspaper in Franchise, every day the headline is about a record being broken (i.e. "move over Cy Young, there is a new all time wins leader with 6 wins total")

It's not on every team newspaper, but it is every day and it cycles through various records at random.

It's the headline every day. It doesn't matter whether I "Sim to Date" or simply move to the next date in the schedule, it always happens.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

So far, every time through 3 separate franchise attempts. This was a random bug last year (and I think the year before too) but it's been every time for me thus far in 11.


Do you have video or pictures?

No, but if it's necessary it certainly won't be hard to get one.


EDIT: Okay, so apparently this glitch seems to be somehow tied to the March 31st Opening Day. If I just "sim to date" and ignore March 31st, I don't get the glitch and get normal headlines. If I simulate or play any games individually on that date, I get the glitch.

Extra innings, pitcher at the plate, position players and other pitchers available, able to access the pinch hitter screen but game will not allow me to use a pinch hitter.

Game did not record a save for my closer in an extra inning game (10 innings).

Brought in closer in 10th inning to get a save in a 10-7 ballgame. Completed the game with my closer with the final score being 10-7. Game did not credit him with save.

Pitcher sleeve texture becomes blotchy.
When using the default batting view, any pitcher that has 3/4 sleeves gets this really bad look around their elbows. Their skin starts to show through the sleeves and the sleeve textures look awful. When you look at the replay they look normal though.

Whats the bug? There was a ground ball to center and Vasgersian said "McCutchen has some trouble with this one" before the ball even touches his glove, and then when it hits his glove he botches it

I experienced it in franchise, not sure about the others.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Commentator announced something before it happened, i havent been able to, it seems like its a flaw in the animation code

When I slide into a base with a runner, his uniform shows dirt. Then when play resumes, his pants stay dirty and his shirt is completely clean for the rest of the game.

It Happened when I slid into any base. I can recreate it everytime I slide into any base. The dirt sometimes shows up when he slides, sometimes it doesn't. But after the play, the jersey is 100% clean everytime.

I had a game freeze issue last night.

Franchise Mode.

I finished the game. At the screen that says do you want to save your replays to the XMB, I clicked No and the game froze. The next screen started to load but stopped and was faded. Underneath it you could see the writing from the previous screen about saving replays.

First time it happened to me.

Waited 10 minutes with no resolution. Couldn't fix clicking any or all buttons. Could not even quit game with PS button.
