Now I did see that lineups in simmed games match the lineups that were set, but that is another item altogether I would say....so yes....you'll have to set the 40 man on day one...or set the lineups on day one.

Can you try to get an official answer on this and if someone could please explain what was improved with lineup logic ??? Thanks

Thanks to Knight about getting to my question about the Record Books...I'll make sure to make my suggestion for it again for 13 and maybe you could put it in their faces for me :P

As for MoM mode, until I saw all the chatter about it here, I didn't even know it was still in the game. Its a somewhat hidden feature and of course when playing Franchise I don't even see it since I'm in "franchise" mind. Just checked it out (I'm sure that 15 trophies jumped to 30-100 after seeing Russel's post).

It wouldn't be something I'd use all the time but from time to time I'd like to just "see how it plays out" especially with the new ball physics next year. Glad to see its still there. I'm excited for the minor tweaks in franchise too.

Lastly, if SCEA (specifically SD Studios) needs a talented graphic/ui designer to help with these new screens etc for the Franchise updates and other stuff I know of a guy. He's got a full time job now but he may be willing to leave to join you... (ps, if you didn't get it, Im that guy lol).

Great job all to the developers and the Community team.

BTW, is there an online MoM? That'd be interesting.

        I'll ask.
        But I'm 99% sure it's as '11.

The improved lineup logic is the CPU now looks at a few more attributes in different ways in different spots in the lineup. Discipline/Vision/Clutch and Baserunning Ability are now in along with Contact/Power/Speed(the "old" logic attributes)

But even if they left it basically as is...a CPU vs. CPU game in which we can interact for the most part, they would really only need to add a few things.

          1. The ability to play head to head online. Two person Manage only Mode. If they could do it on one PS3...great...otherwise just online against another human opponent would be great.
          2. Make it an option of play in online leagues.....vs any other mode of play. Why not?...I'm sure as long as the opponent knows up front.....and will play....can't hurt!...
          3. Get rid of the 6 second countdown. Not necessary any longer. We 15 know we've got 6 seconds to step in if we want!
          4. Give us the ability to choose a pitch type....then a pitch location instead of the counter.
          5. Give us a "hold runner" button(this will keep someone from b&m'ing a bit)
          6. Let us see the opponent bullpen and expand the lineup cards(make them lineup cards.....greying out used/injured players.
          7. Let us have the ability to tell pitchers to butcher boy /swing away

          That's about it....

I had no clue what 'butcher boy' meant, actually had to look this up.

Hey guys, new to the boards but a long time follower.
I'm also throwing my hat in as an "MoM"er. I had know interest in doing so, but once i tried it, i couldn't stop!
Quick question regarding Franchise and i'm sorry if this has been answered, Will we at any point in the near future be able to have Non Roster invitees for Spring Training?

                Plenty of interest!

It's definitely on the list of things asked for.
The only thing that might hinder this is the logic....and how they determine if they will stay in the minors if not put up to the big team.....let loose(there are no "minor league contracts" in the game right now) to the FA market....or make the MLB team.
I'd hate to see every player doing the same thing for the CPU teams(all staying in the AAA/AA system....all getting released....all making the team...)
But I think this one is a real possibility to be added to franchise mode.

It wasn't promised. It was fan speculation based on the assumption that Franchise and RTTS have been alternating in being the main featured improvement in the last three iterations. In MLB 09' RTTS received a huge boost, in MLB 10' a bunch of things were added to franchse (i.e. waiver wire, rule V, single A, manual injuries, etc.) and in MLB 11' RTTS was revamped again.

Yep!! They do not want anyone to change the "image" of a player.
