Re: CES Show questions and or suggestions for me to ask

Do wild pitches make it a "bump" sound against the boarding behide home plate?

When watchig game on TV when a wild pitch hits the wall behide home plate you can hear a bump kind of sound. Would be cool if this sound was added to MLB 12 The Show.

I relize some of the things I am asking for must have some of you guys laughing but remember its the little things that make MLB The Show so great!!

Sorry FreezeTime, I just saw your reply from a few days ago. What I was trying to ask about co-op is now that it has been reported that co-op can be played within franchise mode (last year co-op was only available for exhibition games), so if I'm going along playing a single player Yankees franchise as I always have done in the past, but one day some friends come over my house and they want to play some co-op. Do I have to play one of my Yankee games or can I just pick any game on the schedule for that day and play it co-op? In other words, can I just pick a random NL game (or perhaps even a minor league game) and play it co-op with friends while still within my franchise, and then go back to playng my Yankees games by myself after they leave?

The second part of my question was about the match-up options for co-op. Can we do 2 human players on "Team A" vs. a CPU contolled "Team B"? If there are 3 of us, can we have 2 human players on one team vs 1 human player on the other, or does it have to be equal (2 vs. 2)? I hope that makes my questions clearer, if not that's ok, thanks.

Does pitcher confidence still reset when loading an in-game save file?

Example: Suppose your pitcher is getting shelled and his confidence meter is practically empty. If you save the game, and load it back up, will your pitcher have the same confidence that he had when you saved it, or will it reset (like last year) to a higher default position?

Is there anything such as a postgame show or a This Week in Baseball show? I figured it would be a possibility since the presentation has supposedly been improved.

It looks like you are unable to add/subtract speed/control from your pitches.

For example, can I take 10 miles off my change-up, on an 0-2 pitch, making it very inaccurate. Then, on 2-0, can I take only 7 miles off the change-up; a very accurate, 'get me over' changeup for a strike?
Pulse pitching is like a little enhanced version of classic pitching. You can't adjust the speed. Will probably be in 13.

0 is to -3 pitch speed.

None that Russell can think of.

Smoother? Not really sure what you mean but the game felt fine.

They were going to but the same team worked on Vita and it took up time so they couldn't include it. Look for new grass patterns in 13.

For example, I want to play as a starting pitcher but I'd like the option to watch the game (or just the result plays) of my team in games in which I am not playing.
This was a very good question and Russell said that maybe they can include this for 13.

Do the pitchers still pump their fists in sistuations where they really should not be doing it because they are showing up the batter. Like for example will Roy Halladay pump his fist after striking out a batter in the first inning to get out of the inning? Infact it seems that the pitchers pump their fists afrter every strikeout in MLB 11 The Show.

I really hate when this happends.

I don't mind seeing a pitcher pump his fist if the sistuation calls for it. Like for example the last out of the game or maybe getting out of a big jam late in the game.

Thanks again for getting us all this great info!
Fist pumps will only be situational and only on a strikeout to end the inning. Usually in the later innings.
