I did notice more. For example, I hit a double with Kendrick in franchise and it showed him at 2nd with a stat underneath letting me know it was his 11th double of the year. Same thing applies when you steal a base.

Freezetime- what I meant by the first question was say if Jose Reyes steals second, a bar would pop up on top of the screen saying something like, "Jose Reyes' 26th stolen base." or
"David Ortiz's 15th home run of the season."

I think that was left off in '11, but was on previous versions. Thanks again.

Yes. I have not stolen a base yet but Russell told me this was in. I will be able to play the game more tomorrow since it's the last day and it won't be as busy.

Has that chain link sound been removed when a ball hits the net behide home plate?

This would make a lot of guys happy if that sound was removed or replaced with a more appropriate sound.
Like a sound for a nylon net would be more appropriate because that what the net behide home plate are.

Can you ask Russell about this please.

Do wild pitches make it a "bump" sound against the boarding behide home plate?

When watchig game on TV when a wild pitch hits the wall behide home plate you can hear a bump kind of sound. Would be cool if this sound was added to MLB 12 The Show.

I relize some of the things I am asking for must have some of you guys laughing but remember its the little things that make MLB The Show so great!!

Sorry FreezeTime, I just saw your reply from a few days ago. What I was trying to ask about co-op is now that it has been reported that co-op can be played within franchise mode (last year co-op was only available for exhibition games), so if I'm going along playing a single player Yankees franchise as I always have done in the past, but one day some friends come over my house and they want to play some co-op. Do I have to play one of my Yankee games or can I just pick any game on the schedule for that day and play it co-op? In other words, can I just pick a random NL game (or perhaps even a minor league game) and play it co-op with friends while still within my franchise, and then go back to playng my Yankees games by myself after they leave?

The second part of my question was about the match-up options for co-op. Can we do 2 human players on "Team A" vs. a CPU contolled "Team B"? If there are 3 of us, can we have 2 human players on one team vs 1 human player on the other, or does it have to be equal (2 vs. 2)? I hope that makes my questions clearer, if not that's ok, thanks.

freeze, do u see any stat overlays that referenced league leaders?
or any team stat overlays?

Freeze I don't want to be a pain in the you know what but last night you had said you was going to find out what new stats were put on the players card today did you ever find out any new info on that? Thanks

There are a lot of cool new cutscenes and animations. The facial features look more improved too.

There are new 2 different options for your RP. Stretch and toss will mean the RP won't pitch a lot and will probably take at least 2 innings to get ready. Seems like it's more for your long relief guy.

Ready and waiting will have your RP in the bullpen throw 1 warm up pitch to each real time pitch to maintain energy to stay ready.

Will add more stuff tomorrow. There are plenty of things you guys have not asked about and most of is it too hard to remember but I will do my best.

The new ball physics are pretty cool. They really show off in replay mode. The ball really does change directions and I misplayed a normal fly ball so the more I play, the more I will notice the difference.

Thanks FreezeTime for all your reports. Looks like quite a few additions still remain to be seen! Nice to hear all these gameplay improvements. Wonderfully subtle but would make the game even more enjoyable. Looking forward! Still thinking about Vita...

They were going to but the same team worked on Vita and it took up time so they couldn't include it. Look for new grass patterns in 13.

The vita version is such a beautiful game and has impressed me the most at the CES show. You really can tell that more time was spent on the vita version and the PS3 version suffers because of this...not alot reason to own the PS3 version at this point for me. I'll stick to last years game on the PS3 and this years game on the vita. I have a feeling that online play will be better on the vita...no tournament/playoff mode on both systems! Really bummed about this feature not being in the game after this many years in the PS3 life cycle.

I don't agree with that. PS3 version has a lot of new stuff in it and will be better than 11. Russell told me they didn't want a "B" team working on the Vita version. They wanted to make both versions. It's a compromise that is worth it in the end.

Don't know if this was asked in this thread, but can you ask them if they fixed the glitched deliveries that pitchers like Ervin Santana, JJ Putz, Andy Sonnastine, Jonathan Sanchez etc... ( not many pitchers had it but a few did, someone made a thread about it and listed the ones that this site found. )





The glitch made it so the ball flew out of there release point weird, and was very distracting as a hitter and made it very hard to hit.
