I had an amazing game last night. With my wife sleeping beside me I was Blue Jays playing against the Braves. On All-Star Romero pitched 9 innings of shutout ball and Hanson pitched 8. We were scoreless until the 16th until Rasmus hit a solo homerun.

In the bottom of the 16th the braves strung together a few hits to load the bases. With 2 outs a pinch hitter hit a shot down the line and against the wall. Two runs scored and the game was over.

I lost but it was an amazing game. My wife tried to cuddle with me in her sleep but she just doesn't understand how hard zone batting and pulse pitching can be....

when i get online i can download them just like the ps3 version. you can do sliders, created players, etc....
I was just wondering what ones were the best to download?

There aren't any rosters out yet for the Vita.

I got a Live Roster to download the other day on the Vita, I assumed it was different than the default one. There's also the roster vault.

I use catcher classic and it helps me pick the ball up better.

Is anyone else royally dumbing down the controls on the Vita?

Use the same batting camera. Also using classic pitching and timed hitting. I'm starting to feel guilty for being so lazy but I then remind myself I'm 52 and the guilt goes away rather quickly. LOL

Thanks to the Online Code snaffu, I'm stuck with the default roster for now.

I was more referring to a complete roster, ala Knight's OSFM roster. It'll be several weeks before a roster that complete and extensive is released. For now, yeah, it's the Mar. 6 update and then a few sparse rosters.

Just thought I would add some Pics since there are not too many from the Vita. There is one to show size of the ball because people have wondered how big it looks. Enjoy! This game is amazing and better as you play it more.

Just won my first game on the Vita. 3-2 Royals over the Tribe, 0-5 previously. Both teams got just 6 hits and it was a franchise Spring Training game so both teams used a variety of pitchers.

Finally got down to single digits for the number of times I struck out...9 this game. Really having trouble reading the pitch, especially when the shadows come over home plate but it is getting a bit easier. I can't read a slider for the life of me!

Getting the pulse pitching down fairly good am enjoying using it.

I personally have 0 problem with fielding in this game. I don't like how when I have a batter coming up to the plate half of the crowd looks 8 bit pixelated and half look fine.

Is there a tutorial on how to do the cross platform cloud saving with the PS3? Should I start my season or franchise on the PS3 first or does it matter?

It doesn't matter, but you will use both online codes - 1 for PS3 and 1 for Vita. It's pretty seamless.

It does not. Fishepa. I started one yesterday in class for fun, and loaded it up on my PS3 this morning no problems.
