I was playing RTTS last night and my game crashed on me on the main RTTS menu. Lost about five games.

I have it set that it automatically saves when I finish a game and go back to the menu. Why don't you do that also?

Is anyone else having the game freeze when starting a game with recent firmware revisions? I only play RTTS, and every time it freezes on me, it's right before the "Fast-forwarding to your career player's next event" message. I end up with just a blank black screen and I have no choice but to press the PS button and quit the game.

It never happens on the first game played after loading a save, but I haven't been able to play more than four consecutive games without it happening.

I'm having this happen about every 4-5 games. It looks like it's about to load into the game and you just get the black blank screen. You then have to restart the whole game. Thankfully, I have auto-save on and don't lose anything. However, it does become a pain restarting constantly.

After probably around 1,000 games, I finally got the broken bat hit trophy. I had a runner on first, and sent the runner. The batter swung for the hit and run, and broke his bat on a soft ground ball to the pitcher. It would've been an easy out at first, but I sent my runner around second and the pitcher threw to third to cut him down instead. The third baseman had the ball in time to make the easy tag, but the runner slid under the tag and was called safe.
Of course the next batter grounded into a DP. Has anyone else gotten that trophy?

I'm still absent of that trophy... I've managed to do it twice on the PS3, but unfortunately it's not a trophy on that version.

I resisted the urge to buy a Vita for this game last year and having that same itch to buy it for this years game. Looking forward to info on the new one to see what if anything they have done to the Vita version. I just love the idea of being able to take my franchise from the PS3 to the Vita and back again. I imagine I would have a game going while having MLB Extra Innings on my TV for most of the baseball season. I originally got the PS3 for this game as it is.
